@Thomas
My friend is literally getting his CFTP GT500 cleaned up and ready to sell it so he can hopefully catch the new cobra, figures there will be an overnight value drop on 2020s
Gotta stay ahead of the curve 🫡
Yeah my jones maxflow is 3” all the way through, they do have a 2-1/2” version but an exhaust shop would have to cut and weld it in.
I just can’t see the smaller bottle resonators actually knocking much sound/db off.
The bigger quiet one is nice 👍
All of the stuff these aftermarket companies...
Not sure where you’ve seen that, turbos will need an aftermarket tuning company and I don’t think any of them would do that.
You’ll need to talk to your tuner for their recommendations, this is why so many of us go whipple, such a bargain with injectors and tuning included
I predict the people that are not gonna buy it will complain… a bunch
Probably about weight, then same old powertrain, then looks, oh and cost, and then dealership ADMs
Think $140k, heavier GT500 … probably something like that
Huge huge waste of time and money, put that towards your stage 1 whipple kit.
Advice given by someone WITH both headers and a whipple fyi
If you're not going off-road don’t bother with headers and if you’re not going stage 2 you don’t want too either.
These threads are hilarious… “Larry bird is not walking through that door”
We are here now, everything is constantly changing and moving forward… worrying about car nannies…
It’s not for you… go buy a small block no Nannie’s early 60s through 00s car… that day isn’t coming back
When I did my system I had to get in the back seat, pull down the magnetic roof liner from the middle and unplug the ANC device up there.
I was getting feedback and that solved it.

Yes, car picked up 3 MPH/tenths with just headers, I didn’t replace the resonator until I was boosted.
I went from 12.0/1s to 11.7/8s
that was stock tune/before tuning
In the 2 videos I posted, it is headers, stock resonator stock catback.
the OEM and aftermarket headers have the 2 1/4 neck downs. The OEM resonator and 2-1/4 neck downs were cut out and the jones maxflow dual 3” was welded in where the OEM resonator was
your OEM exhaust after the cats goes to...
In the 2 videos it is off-road headers into the stock resonator and active exhaust.
I have since these videos had the stock resonator/2 1/4 neck downs cut and replaced with the jones maxflow dual 3”
it still has untouched active exhaust from res/muff back
This is headers, stock resonator/active exhaust. I have since added a larger 3” muffler mainly to remove the 2-1/4 neck down and also it made it more quiet than stock.
