I think the ZR1/X is also a flex, I want one.
They aren’t mutually exclusive… but they are different levels of buyers.
The average GTD buyer can score a ZR1 no big deal… the average ZR1 buyer will NEVER even get the opportunity to have a GTD… that’s the difference
Window cleaner, got him in with other car minded businesses guys, construction, brick work, concrete, another that owns pizza chains, and now he’s the go to for that type of work when needed.
All those guys also own gt500, and then got invited to parties out at the private road course/car...
This is a bad take, buying a GTD IS a flex, you can’t just buy one, you need to be selected by Ford to be allowed to purchase
Owning one show you are “a somebody” not to mention it will get you invited into places that you’d likely never network into alone
My good friend bought a GT500 CFTP...
Yes, running the VMP plug n play. Stock pump and BAP are enough to flow for E30, I’ve been down to 3.5 pulley, some have gone 1 smaller.
So I wouldn’t bother with more unless you are trying to make 900 wheel HP or more, then yes, dual pump system, ID1300s custom tune etc..
but you’re gonna be...
Boost in higher gears can cause damage to the transmission, I.E. I never want to hold power 6-7, that’s where you’ll break stuff, if ford is gonna warranty it, they have to neuter it.
N/A isn’t gonna cause any problems in high rpm/high gear shifts
This is why you need to always DIY, these dealers are in over their heads, I don’t trust them.
The install was super easy, good luck, I’m sure it will get sorted with pressure
Yes but most of them don’t think that deeply. They also don’t realize how incredibly good they have it.
Using the SNAP card out of their Louis Vuitton purse. It’s so disconnected.
This is NOT what I see at all.
We have attendance issues because people treat it like a part time job, many get FMLA and only work 2-3 days a week, and then apply for government benefits on top of it.
They literally can’t work their 40-50 hours or they’d lose their SNAP, rental assistance etc...
Crappy engines?
Strong disagree, the coyote is probably the most robustly built engine in modern history, people are making 1,000 HP plus without even touching the long block
Hopefully we can hang in there awhile longer, the writing is on the wall
Google’s autonomous cars drove 1 million trips a month in 2025, plans are 1 million per week in 2026 and expansion globally. Between them, TSLA and I’m sure Ford/GM are working solutions, driving isn’t gonna be around...
200$…. I’m duct taping popsicle sticks before that.
Aftermarket really dropped the ball on us for so long, paddle extensions, custom screen housings … just cool stuff in general those look pretty awesome
Plot twist… Earth is a lost cause, so we need to generate as much electricity as possible to bring forth SpaceX, Neuralink, Tesla Optimus bots, A.I. and the data centers to link it all together.
Earth is inconsequential, strip it of all necessary materials.…we’re going galactic!
