Facts! … the car is so well engineered from the factory now, even my base sound system is fantastic compared to what they were a few generations ago
  2. Next Mod - LTH or Half Shafts

if I ever snap one so be it… but the taper IS the main weak point.
  3. Next Mod - LTH or Half Shafts

I did headers and GT350 half shafts and have cut 1.4 60 foots with no issues… they were only like $400 … the driver side which usually snaps has almost 8lbs more material and does not have the taper on the shaft (where GT tend to snap) go both.

Dustin whipple told me it’s 8K rev limiter.
  5. RPM redline on Tune?

my friend has a GT500 and he LOOOVES holding it on the 2 step at lights … I cringe everytime like bro… cmon man…
  6. RPM redline on Tune?

77-7800 … never hit a limiter though, not sure how high they have it raised edit I just asked, I’ll update when I get the answer
  7. RPM redline on Tune?

I swear some are trying not to understand on purpose. RPM is noooo problem… you will run out of lift and duration far before RPM can even become a problem rev limiters ARE a problem, they are violent on timing chains and tensioners as well as oil pump and crank sprocket gears
  8. RPM redline on Tune?

Right on! Enjoy and please share feedback 👍🍻
  9. RPM redline on Tune?

Raising redline is more about safety for the engine… it’s better to float valves north of 8k then to hit the rev limiter for longevity. i.e. the 7800 rpm rev limiter is harder on the engine than 8500rpm is

  11. Loss of power at 6,000 RPM 2025 GT

Person/shop… one of the original aftermarket mustang tuners who goes back to the early 90s, he’s basically a legend in the mustang world. A lot of articles in MM&FF and old 5.0 magazine etc. just a well trusted shop/source.
  12. Whipple Stage 2, Cats, and LTHs to stay legal in my area

The risk is the cats clog and you blow a ringland in a piston. The gains (if keeping cats) aren’t there to justify even doing headers. Not for under 800HP
  13. Whipple Stage 2, Cats, and LTHs to stay legal in my area

2” headers are for over 1200HP… if you’re leaving cats on don’t waste time with headers and go stage 1. it’s either or… either stock cats/headers and stage 1 OR off-road LTH and stage 2.
  14. Why Ford Has So Many Recalls

you are comparing plants built decades apart though. I get it but it’s misleading. compare that to fords new plant when it comes online
  15. Why Ford Has So Many Recalls

This is why ford is pushing for their new EV platform/universal manufacturing process. their “new model T moment” it’s easier to start clean sheet into the future… and that’s the plan, the next 100 years of Ford.

  17. E85 Fuel Advantages and Disadvantages

A lot of people test, on my facebook groups people have cars with ethanol content gauges so there should be a local network community consistently sharing and updating stations content. look in your area for something like this
  18. First 8-Second ProCharged S650! - Beefcake Racing

  19. E85 Fuel Advantages and Disadvantages

yep… took my nephew to the zoo this weekend, nice 200 mile fall cruise It’s not really all about the huge rwhp at max rpm.. the extra 2-300ft/lb TQ low rpm cruising is incredibly useful and fun
  20. E85 Fuel Advantages and Disadvantages

My car has ran 9.9 on the stage 2 kit, haven’t been back with the tune update and 3.5 pulley.. probably a few tenths quicker
