What OP picture shows is the fitment of the (plastic) rocker molding to the (metal) rear quarter panel. I don't think you can adjust that, other than maybe ghetto-rigging it with some rubber padding against the inside surface of the rocker molding to make it bulge out more, flush with the RQP...
