Any info on how often Ford usually does facelifts/"mid-cycle refresh"?
If 2015 was the first S550 and 2018 (3 years later) was a facelift, does that mean 2027 will have updated bumpers?
To calculate the correct number, you have to convert the tire circumference (in millimeters) to hex (hexadecimal). The OEM values don't quite line up with any calculator I've used online, and different than what one would calculate using the advertised specs from even the tire manufacturer...

We'll see if this is true. It would be good for Ford to fix it, but sucks for us current owners
Rear passenger seat latch rattles: sounds almost like a suspension issue because it comes out when the chassis is diagonally flexed, such as over uneven roads or twisty cambered roads. Solved with silicone spray, which seems to last 3-4 months, but a thicker grease might be a longer-lasting...
If you leave room in front of you, other people just cut in that space continuously.
The ideal strategy I've found is going faster than general flow of traffic but constantly vigilantly maintaining a distance from whatever car you find in front of you.
Can't be totally avoided however.
For those who have added paddle shifters: how are they to use?
I heard that it's very herky-jerky when shifting, and laggy. I can't imagine it's any different than on a HPP Ecoboost, and I can't imagine it's any worse than on a GT, since it's the same transmission after all.
Was it a worthwhile...
One change I do like about the S650 Ecoboosts is that Ford improved the exhaust significantly vs S550. Both in tone (lower, gruntier) and according to some experts it's more of a "performance exhaust" setup from the factory.
As far as quiet starts, I dont' think you can start with valves fully...
Ford is really just gonna continue to stonewall and refuse to acknowledge/fix this eh?
Guess it doesn't matter to them since the modern business model is to sell someone a new car/phone/laptop every 1-3 years so anything beyond that/warranty period they couldn't care less
Things I notice:
- standard Mustang GT front bumper
- standard Performance Pack front lip
- pedestal spoiler
- 18" wheels (which don't look that special, looks like they were ordered as part of a package from DiscountTire)
- RTR grille
I have my doubts about this model because the Ecoboost is...
Really? PF64 was the OEM oil filter for my 2021 Camaro LT1 (V8). I returned an extra I had after I sold that car. And returned extra 5W-30, which it turns out is the oil for the 2024 Ecoboost as well. Shoulda just kept everything lol
Just did my first oil change on my Ecoboost.
WOW, what a pain. I can't believe professional products can be designed this poorly. My 6th gen Camaro was much easier to work on. The location of the Mustang's panel and oil filter and how those limit your jackstand placement, etc. was super...
Feral Industries (if you trust 'em) also has an overpriced plastic lip that is similar in style to the OEM Performance Pack lip, just a little more aggressive/sticks out a little further. $500 for that strip of plastic. I'd just stick with the OEM PP lip that's easily attainable on eBay for $150.
Confirmed, 2.3.64 finally works to write BCM changes!
Changes may cause a P160A error code, but that's OK--just do the PCM relearn and then clear the DTC.

Interesting datapoints. Yes I'm using ForScan approved adapters, tried 2 different ones, multiples of one of them. Only tried writing to BCM and no changes would save (like Alan Applegate). So I guess I'm not the only one.
Hoping one day ForScan will update or catch up to whatever Ford is doing...
I have never been able to get Forscan to actually write any changes.
Ecoboost base, built ~June 2024. I always default to the latest Forscan version and then tried 4-5 older ones too. Tried 3-4 adapters. 2 different laptops.
My car probably isn't unique and likely many other S650 owners simply...
Totally agree. Most likely this will remain unacknowledged by Ford and nothing will happen until the 2027s get silently updated or something.
I wonder if anyone has seen a 2025 and if they still have these holes.
