Helpful clarification, that's what I thought as well.
I've heard some murmurings that even with the Employee Pricing program, bottom-line prices went up on various Fords since they were achievable with deeper discounts before.
Haven't been monitoring the market lately, but I seem to remember...
Anyone able to negotiate below "employee pricing"? (not counting rebates)
Since this is subsidized by Ford mothership, I take it dealers have more room to go.
Hoping to place a custom order, not sure how realistic it is to go lower. I figure a custom order is less work for the dealer...

Can anyone confirm if this does anything? Might be useful for people who track, autocross, drift, or Ecoboosts looking for crowds looking to be the next Ken Block.
I tried it on my Ecoboost, seems to...
To my untrained ear, there isn't much simulated noise unless you're flooring it.
I cold start with windows down in a small garage and have listened carefully as the engine settles out into normal idle, and when pulling out of my neighborhood etc. it seems to be real noise that reverberates off...
Noob questions, I've only ever owned new cars that never needed unexpected repairs/warranty work, so I have zero experience taking cars in for service (DIY oil changes/tire rotations).
Tried to drop off my car at the dealer today for a known rear axle defect issue (SSM 52444). Dealer said they...
S650 Ecoboosts have a bassy resonant drone ~1600RPM (best speed to hear it is by driving ~62MPH , or 43MPH too depending on what gear it chooses to be in).
Personally I don't mind, I like it (coming from a Camaro LT1 w/Chevy active exhaust that I could play like a musical instrument and make...
This plug does nothing in S650s, at least in my limited testing.
I had been searching for ways to TRULY disable stability control (AdvanceTrac) and unplugged it in a rental Ecoboost last year. Made no difference.
Someone can trace the wires and compare to S550s, but as far as I can tell this...
Looks like I have it too. Here slowly releasing the brakes after shifting into R, then will click again when I shift R-->D, and again when I take a tight right turn out of my area.
Did they also do an alignment after replacing your axles?
One thing that frustrates me about these new Mustangs, in addition to the underbody tray (can we safely run without it?), is that the oil changes are so messy.
My previous fun car was a Camaro with the LT1 V8 and my first ever DIY oil change experience, not a single splash or drop landing...
I don't understand very expensive cars. I'd be too stressed by other drivers around me, who may be uninsured, or simply careless. Door dings in parking lots, poorly-maintained streets causing scrapes, etc. etc.
Is it really 10x as fun as a Mustang?
Interestingly I noticed my coolant reservoir is also below the minimum line and has a couple mild "residue lines". 10K miles. I shoulda paid more attention when it was new so I can compare.
Noticed the same thing on an 8 month/10K mile 2024 Ecoboost.
Will be topping it off and monitoring it closely. I've heard coolant loss on an Ecoboost can be a sign of headgasket issues.
People are all assuming more sales = better. But maybe not to Ford. Ford's bean counters did the math and are continuing to raise prices because they figured that's how to maximize profit. More profit per Mustang vs more Mustangs sold (they can't have it both ways).
Same principle during the...
