Thanks, yeah you suggested that on my post. I looked into it, that would do the job, just not thrilled on adding a device. Was hoping in the future this would be something that can be tuned? Or are those response calculations hard programmed by Ford, unable to be adjusted?
Since I bought mine before 4/17/24, anything special OTA update is cool I guess.
Personally I would be thrilled with an OTA update giving me a better throttle response
I haven't much as I read it was programmed to reduce tire spin. I'll give it a run for awhile, though from what others here have mentioned, the lag is due to electronic throttle by wire, my last GT was an 88, when you hit the pedal, instant response.
Someone mentioned a device, "Pedal...
Maybe not broken in yet, A10 does short shift slightly. In M mode the rev limiter chokes you. What happened to the owners choice or ignorance to ruin an engine?
Worse to me is the throttle response, in any mode, is horrid. I don't want to but a device, anyone know if at some point, might be...
If you are sure in D, it should not be hitting the rev limiter. Pedal to the floor never had it rev limit, it always shifts perfect
Still getting use to paddles, never had them always a manual. Hit the rev limit a few times with the paddles cause you have to shift so quick. I mainly play in D...
Just curious cause your profile pic, was the car sitting frozen cold for awhile, then heated up? I noticed today after my OTA update how warm the back of the screen gets. Glass or plastic, cold to hot= crack?
Just a guess, in any event stay on them to fix it
I think regular is for the Base model  I only use Premium in my Premium...lol Seriously though reg wont hurt, probably wouldn't even notice the difference. I only premium, gas is high regardless so why not get the octane
Normal, this engine cranks loud, especially a cold start, 45 seconds to get the juices flowing. Quiet Start or not, that's as quiet as your gonna get. BTW Quiet Start does not work with remote start
I have the A10, love how it shifts, always use Premium, just hit the 500 mile mark. So I want this thing to smoke the tires at launch (if I choose) so are you suggesting if I stay aggressive on the pedal it will learn that's what I want and I might lose some of the throttle delay/lag?
I have no...
I experienced this at first, like hit the gas and it had a lag. From what others have said it is normal due to the electronic throttle response, causes a slight delay when pressing the pedal
I still love the car, it's fast as hell and the delay makes it harder to do burnouts so I'll save money...
I have had zero issues so far. Most of the bugs I see people posting are voltage issues related to bad or poorly charged batteries. Especially those first round cars that were produced and sat for months. This car needs driven or put on a battery tender or it goes into sleep mode to conserve the...
Pretty cool! I had almost identical experience with my GT Premium a few weeks ago at the 500 mile mark. Coming from an 88 GT like you stated, this is a different beast, plenty of power, handles tight even without PP, active exhaust modes are a blast and the thing sounds amazing.
I've been...
Me too though the on screen digital is much better and there are videos in it as well. Plus 500 pages wouldn't fit in the tiny glove box. Not to mention, cant read a paper manual without reader glasses and I don't take them on drives.
Face it, If the screen malfunctions, not much a paper manual...
