A crowd sourced app like waze?
Waze has become very good here after a slow start. On one very illegal road trip waze saved me as often as the detector.

I've heard of that, I've never done it. It was popular with cross ply tyres, especially retreads, where QC was poor.
But if the OP does that, tyre warranty is void.
