I'm height challenged, and I have my seat low, so it's not a problem for me. I do like that you can turn off the detector display on the V1 Gen2 so there aren't tell tale lights visible from behind.
You guys in the US are spoiled. You should see some of the crap colour choices we get on cars here. Except perhaps Mazda and the hordes of Chinese EV's.
Ford have a damn good range.
One extra thing I did was stick a tinted glass phone screen protector to the screen and stick the suction cups to that. It shades the detector from the sun, disguises it a little, and hasn't moved in months. Sticks like poo to a blanket.
Take the wheels and tyres back, get them to spin up the wheels without tyres. that'll isolate the problem.
It's not unknown for even premium tyres to have the occasional dud.
Ditto
The other factor on the Mustang is the longitudinal ridge running parallel to the hood edge. That catches the eye and exaggerates the amount of movement.
Birds? Don't get me started. We live near a nesting area for Canadian Cobra Chickens aka Canada Geese by the dozen, Those sods have the bomb load of a B52 and the accuracy of a Stuka.
Are you sure? Normally a hood has a high pressure area at the front, and at the rear hood/cowl area. Venting the middle should reduce the low pressure area.
I didn't think the output shaft could move in park. It's mechanically locked.
Unless that movement is when the car is shifted to drive or reverse.
The OP wasn't clear on that, just referred to start up.
I'm glad my OCD has reduced with age. I can now live with fingerprints. I do still struggle with skin product residue on the passenger door inner panels though.
