Over the years Ford has offered more weird colors than any other car maker, or so it seems. Some of these (Benjamin Moore's Oxford White for example) are Trademarked. Makes me wonder about the legal status of other Ford colors?
Interesting comment about legality. I'm not sure about the Fed, but most states (including New Mexico where I live) only allow white or amber front lighting. There are several vehicles in my surrounding neighborhood which have 'red-colored' headlight surrounds apparently turned on whenever...
I've only owned one ragtop in my life, and it only took one to convince me I'd never own another. Apparently you like them, and I'm sure they're better than they used to be. Good luck on your purchase.
I agree. In 1983 I purchased a Mercury Cougar with every factory option expect two tone paint and a moon roof. The car was just under $20,000 before taxes, etc. Today, that would be about $65,000 which is Dark Horse territory.
Albeit an Apple beta tester, I do own an HP laptop with Windows 11. It seems that more 'stuff' is supported using a PC, but I don't know the best approach. I would think a wired interface to the OBD is adequate, but Amazon lists about ten different ones.
What I'm after are a few mods with...
I'd like to think we're all remiss a bit. Back in the day, Shelby not only moded Fords, it did several models for Lee Iacocca at Chrysler too. Personally, I liked the setup in the GLH-S (I should mention a four hole turbo!), and I almost bought one. Closer to the truth, Shelby has always been a...
Speaking of burning rubber.... Some asian crotch rocket owner about these parts has a set of smoke tires; one is blue and one in red. That is a sure-fire way to get cited, but it still is comical in a wry way.
I guess we're in a race (pun intended) for the 1/4 mile between the Mustang and the eCorvette?
There is one thing which puzzles me. The eRay (or whatever you call it) hovers around $200,000 plus dealer add-ons (≈$25,000 or more). Quarter mile times are in the neighborhood of 10 seconds and 125...
With respect to the headlights: I've never noticed any delay or failure when in the automatic mode. Seems to me it just works.
I do wonder if the (available) heat is as quick on a GT as it is the Eco-Boost? My first Mustang (1979 Turbo) was blowing hot air in less than 1/2 a mile. My 2024...
My Eco-Boost with the Ford Performance Tune gets better mileage than it did stock. Was about 18.5 or so in my daily driving scenario, to 19.4. I'm not complaining!
Wheels are like women—you either like them, or you don't!
I've been looking for a set of wheels myself, as I want to stick with 18s, but wider ones. So far, everything I've found that fits the bill are 'fugly'! What's worse, far too many retailers don't know anything about offsets, widths...
