No, but you are ignoring other factors that reduce that difference to a smaller number than 160-47. The Whipple will be heavier, but not that much heavier when all is installed.

You can pulley the Whipple to produce only 6.5 pounds of boost, if you want. You can do the same with a turbo set up, or any blower or turbo. On any of those options, 6.5 pounds of boost would add more than 100 horsepower.

Procharger is driven off the crank, which induces additional stress on the internals over the additional PSI. Only a turbocharger is going to avoid this, as it is driven by exhaust gases.
