Do you mind sharing a link to your wheels, width, back spacing, and tire sizes?
  2. new Dark Horse coming!

If you are going to add headers, get rid of that 2.25" reduced pipe diameter right ahead of the H pipe. No reason to add free flowing headers but keep that pinch in the exhaust pipe.

The police drive bright yellow mustangs?
  4. Dark Horse trackattack

Ok, I will try it out. I just assumed they would know who was the original owner.
  5. Dark Horse trackattack

My avatar is on Road Atlanta three days after I purchased the car!
  6. Dark Horse- What did you Mod today?

I am going to be doing the same thing - The Trofeos definitely do not like cold weather, and I know from having 4S tires on my Audi that they do well during the winter (well, Georgia winter). And yet I still feel like I am going to miss the Trofeos and that absolute sticky grip when they are...
  7. Dark Horse trackattack

That was at Road Atlanta, in Braselton, Georgia. Due to sponsorship, it is now called Michelin Road Atlanta. It is constructed to FIA standards and can host international events. 2.54 miles with some very high speed sections. There are some large changes in elevation that make the track...
  8. Lethal Performance 3" Resonated Double H-Pipe

From the photos it still has the 2.25" reduced pipe before the H- Pipe. I just do not understand why anybody would want to keep such a small diameter section but then install 3" H- Pipes. Makes no sense whatsoever.
  9. Dark Horse trackattack

I bought mine used with like 800 miles on it. I do not think I am eligible.
  10. Disabling Electronic Sound Enhancement and ANC for subwoofer install

I wonder if there is a way to put high quality instruments near the larger speakers in the rear. On a day when the road is cold and damp, put it in Drag Mode, start rolling forward, and, before it is out of first gear, just stomp on the gas suddenly but briefly, just long enough to hit the top...
  11. Whipple Calibration On Hold

    That is pretty scary . . .
  12. Pirelli tyres

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/michelin-pilot-sport-4s "The Pilot Sport 4S excels in warm dry and wet conditions, so like all Max Performance Summer tires, is not intended to be serviced, stored nor driven in near- and below-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice." and "Note: Tires...
  13. Pirelli tyres

OK, I will keep it in mind to slow down a little when it is below freezing. Thanks.
  14. Pirelli tyres

I had Michelin PS4S on my Audi, which is all wheel drive (Quattro, basically a torsion differential that sends power rear or front up to a 60/40 rear front distribution) and drove them year around with no issues, but I live in the US southeast. I would drive them when temperatures were in the...
  15. To Supercharge or not to Supercharge...is that even a question?

Since you are almost 60, maybe you are retired and rich already (I hope so) but if not stopping this habit of buying a new car every year and taking the massive hit when you buy each successive car could help you to get some more money socked away in the next few years prior to retiring. I...
  16. The Dark Horse's Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo RS tires look to be the first of their kind

    Goodyear Supercar 3 R has 305/30 R 19 and 325 <--- although I would probably just run the 305.
  17. The Dark Horse's Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo RS tires look to be the first of their kind

I am at 6800 miles, and one of the rear tires is finally showing a bit of cord. :frown: It is in the 70s today, so I took it out for a drive. Surprisingly, the tires still stick . . . lol. I found my road with sweeping up and down hill curves and pushed quite a bit once the tires built up...
  18. *Update* Dark Horse with Steeda X pipe with TotalFlow mini race Resonators and Corsa axle-back

Back when my cars of choice were classic Pontiacs one of the biggest ways to pick up horsepower was 3" exhaust, x crossover, and, while these engines were a lot bigger (472-540 or so ci) they were not pushing 8000 rpm, either. Lots of guys, sick of the 3" noise, necked down to 2.5 mufflers...
  19. '24 mustang flowmaster active exhaust valve not working

I might be losing confidence in these guys and looking for somebody with more experience. This is also why I suggested reaching out to Flowmaster. They may have seen this same failure 350 times, and a phone call might get a tech who says, "Oh, yeah, that is the result of installing them this...
