I'll start, For me is being able to pull the dipstick out without having to work around the factory strut tower brace.
I know, I know, it's super trivial, but little things like that make life easier.
Ford/GM did a really good job with the 10 speed. It's probably tied with the ZF 8 speed used in Audi S8 / RS7 and Dodge hellcat for functionality in my experience.
The 10 speed keeps you in peak power better between gear shifts. It shifts lightning quick, doesn't hunt around, you can't feel it...
Anyone gonna mark this on the calendar for the next time he's talking about street racing? Maybe he'll just say he's in mexico next time.
The fact you don't recognize what an edge case you are, and how privileged you are is amusing.
You want to share your story go do a PSA tour at local high...
I had ps4s in 275/40/19 do nothing but make smoke. I would leave 11’s even with TC on.
I’m now running nitto 555g2 in a 305/35/19 they grip better but I am still spinning them with TC on. Especially in sport mode, however the car feels faster in a straight line
Most of the time I’m not going...
Here's PBD.
If the car is running fine and you aren't getting any knock, how much is your powertrain warranty worth to you.
If you don't have a pile of cash to burn, I'd wait like a month or two for the tuning platform to get a bit more settled.
It's not like you're the hellion twin turbo...
False equivalency, you're getting even further from the original point.
@schmeky7 I wonder if its just as easy as a molded Y or if they'll run into issues with more air flowing through one throttle body, and if that will make tuning any harder.
Could you imagine dual smaller superchargers? ha...
Because they were replying to someone asking "WHAT IS ESS, I DONT WANT TO MISS OUT"
@drive_55_not could have said "ESS makes superchargers" but then the rest of us wouldn't get to enjoy you pointing out the kits for a S550 in, again, a thread asking if ESS is going to have a S650 kit out soon...
Or you're only reading the posts you want. HP specifically jumped the gun to have theirs out before SCT, and a lot of tuners including PBD in their videos say how they've been having issues with the software.
file a ticket with HP Tuners, hopefully they can get you looked after sooner than...
I'm also really curious about Ford locking people out via an OTA update.
I remember when BMW did this on the f80 platform. A few tuners had finally unlocked obd2 flashing and BMW patched it if you brought your car in for dealer service with a 'mandatory' DME update. I'm unsure of the current...
The logic / flow chart on this one is really easy
Do you have 14-30k on hand for a replacement motor, plus labour?
If the answer to this is anything but "heck yeah! I wanna sink in another 50% of what I paid into the car", then get the stage 1 FRPP kit that comes with something that resembles...
Why give factual numbers when that will just make owners sad.
If they give favourable numbers then owners feel better about their purchase.
It's similar psychology behind why fitness watches report vastly inflated calorie burned numbers.
Get a dragy, they're on Amazon and other places. The times your car gives you are optimistic to put it mildly. Fantasy numbers is another way to put it.
So tint might look cool, but honestly when you're just getting started with driving, it's a real hinderance to being able to see properly at night, ESPECIALLY ON THE WINDSHIELD. Plus factor in you've got exactly 0 years of driving alone under your belt.
However I'm sure this is not a concern...
Just wanna throw this out there, being able to beat on your base tier v8 "affordable" mustang for 10-15 minutes is pretty good all things considered.
The Mercedes SL55, which started at $120k USD in 2005, you'd be lucky to get 3 pulls out of it before the engine was pulling timing due to high...
