I got mine installed at 4wheels, Fort Lauderdale (Oakland Park Blvd). He's great. (Eddie). He's tinted my car, put in great sound, my car alarm, even fiber optic lights Very Fair even low $ 4wheelsautosound.com
Yes that switch makes the fogs totally indetependsnt. So pushing it up makes the ack light amber come on. Pushing down makes the main fg come on.
So with this, I can have my headlights on at same time as just the back amber light, without the full fog light on
I just got the car back. The second pic is the switch (to the right of the factory switch area) my guy added on to control the Fogs totally independently. **If they are left on, they will not shut off automatically. << ONLY b/c they are independent in my config.
If they are set up regularly...
I'm having mine put in right now.
At first it looked like even with the extra wiring harness that I bought that the fog lights are not fully independent. But the installer just detmermined that yes they are with I'm installing a separate switch for them. From what I understand, the way it...
THAT"S my twin lol.
I keep a car cover on mine (no garage). it stays spotless for over a month as if just washed even after a month. You prob keep in the garage (if you have room)?
Though I'm getting fogs put in right now :-D
I'm liking the look of the polished silver esp when it's very clean also. I learned that a dry paper towel is a lot better than water and a brush to clean.. .and wiping some every few days for a few mins and they look really good.. they weren't clean in that pic either.
**I might get a...
Can you bargain down price on ordering? I'd have done that to order a stick, but I ended up with $6000 off sticker. I'm thinking you cant go lower than msrp for orders?
I was a little hesitant for similar reason, b/c it's so bright and grabbing lol that it attacts more attention.. My last car was stolen from same spot my stang is in now (my apt building parking spot).
Mine will stand out a little more.. Im having the diode dynamics fogs put in as we speak. with added switch to have it so the amber back light only comes on or the entire light. Just for a little more attention :-D
I"m similar to you. I usually dont like a blue car, but if fits on this one, and became more likable as I drove it more. Now I love it. And most people that see it comment on great color, which I never heard on any car I had before.
I decided to take it to bumper doc not far from me. They're reputable and Im able to get it done for $500 repair (orig quote was $650). Its a trade off since that spot on the bumper will split again if strssed enough, much less strength there now. If it fails then Ill have to get a full...
I'll see what Ford quotes me at (if anything). Seems more positive than I thought at first to go that route. If it's not as low as I'm hoping from today's Quick Look I'll see about a trip to pompano. They look like they mainly to high end cars there from the web site which make me guess it...
Thanks for that. That sounds like something to consider if I dont get a good estimate from Ford or elsewhere better than what I have gotten so far. There's labor putting it on.. a few $100. so ends up about $1150 estimating. I'll see what the other estimates come out at. At least I know...
that's an idea...
I was quoted $850 for what seems as perfect a job as can be (I didnt have a chance to go to pompano yet.. it's 30 mins away). They take the bumper off, repair, paint the area of course.. put reinforcement on it. and clear coat the rest , to blend it all somehow.
Then I went to...
