If cost isn't exorbitant and the installer does not report it to something like carfax. I'm thinking it would be at least $1,500 and possibly show as an accident on any carafe etc reports when I go trade in etc. Not even talking about reporting to insurance.

Thank you for that verification :-D . I actually got the premium just for the leather and the sound. It was a waste of any add on $ that went to the sound -- I totally replaced it. Is active exhaust just for making the car sound softer and louder? Which is fine if that's all it is.
