Looks of course therefore I never argue about looks or colors But you have to admit that the Challenger WB is One of the best looking cars ever made....As for driving Fun low rpm Torque rules because it gives you the instant push in the back lower displacement , taller geared ,highrer revving...
Sad that this might be the last new pony car comparison...ever.And what ever these presstitutes say I think Lieberman got most of it right...The Mustang 650 looks better than the '18-on 550 But the front still does not look right.Especially the kink where the fender and hood meet the headlights...
POwer band in the Coyote is pretty much 4000-7000 rpm but it does not feel strong due to weight of the car , small displacement and tall gears...3rd tops out at 116 mph...! Not much going on between 2000 and 4000 rpm....
The S650 is basically a 10 year old car with a 14 year old motor with a few new body parts and 2 touchscreens inside...The Camaro The Camaro was new 8 years ago and had a 10 year old engine design...The Challenger had its last engine update in 2015 and the Widebody suspension/brake package for...
Nice looking car , the last real american car as it was made north of the border , the engine south and the tranny coming from Germany ! Sad to see these Hemi 392 V8 powered cars go and with this another piece of americana…Enjoy your last of a kind ! Its a real car with a V8 and in black a true...
A mild hybrid with a small battery would help the Coyote in the Torque department for sure…I think Porsche is doing the same with the upcoming 911 to make the accelerate even faster 👍But if this what Ford will do please not like the E-Ray where it adds a sheetload of weight and is depleted after...
10% off for an all new vehicle in the first year is great for the customer because its close what the dealer pays the manufacturer for it nowadays but it is also bad because it shows that the new gen is not selling…Listened to caredge that Ford is shipping more than 144000 2023 and 2024 F150 to...
I watched the whole 60 year thing on my phone…My take was lots of fake enthusiam…Like when the Nascar racer on stage said how great the Mach-E is…They cant give it away even after a huge price drop…Or that said it all for me when the female chief engineer for Mustang said how many more exciting...
As sad as it sounds especially for the prices they ask for these cars today squeaks , rattles , gaps on various body parts and not perfect paint are still part of the american car experience unfortunately…
All theory is grey as in real life the Coyote needs at least 4000 rpm to get some meaningful acceleration while the LT1 get you the same shove around 2000 rpm…More Torque due to bigger displacement ! Nowhere between 1000 and 6000 rpm will be the Coyote as powerful as the LT1 or even less so the...
I get a good kick out of it why so many people worry about ride hight or super wide low sidewall tires…If you do track days yes but driving on regular roads you loose comfort , scrape stuff and deal with tramlining…All for a little looks…Sometimes less is more !
That is crazy as I have never heard about a 02 sensor failing at 100 miles…100K miles maybe but definitely not after after burning less than half a tank of gas…
Thanks for posting this…116 mph in 3rd gear in connection with the low torque of the smallish displacement is the reason the Coyote feels weak for a V8 but still stronger than a Vodoo…Bring the 5.8 👍
I totally agree…I had mine for 4 1/2 years and I could never get used to it like parking way too far from curbs not to damage the splitter and always stayed away from drive throughs because I was afraid of curb rash on the rims…I mean a shame as GM build a good chassis as the small block is a...
Actually the Challenger WB got its last update in 2019 with a new suspension and electronic Bilstein shocks which makes this car handle much better than any SRT narrow body or Hellcat widebody that has roughly 200 lbs more weight over the front as also 2mm smaller sway bars as also 25% softer...
The Coyote definitely has yhe least amount of Torque of the 3 domestic V8 engines…And the gearing is tall for noise and mpg reasons…The A10 will be faster but the manual will be more fun 👍And I would spend the extra money for the Tremec instead of the MT82…Shorter reardrive even if only 5%...
I agree with you but dont understand what you mean with the SS was difficult to drive at slow speed and in traffic…Lack of visibility ? I remember the clutch had not a clean biting point…Is this what you meant ? As for the GT350 I think it was the car that I had the highest expectations for...
