Because your Mach 1 also has said Gen 3 Coyote. FYI that all gens of the coyote tick, Ford has already said itās a normal operating characteristic of the motor.
Is what Bill said true about the first Dark Horses being optioned by Ford and not the customers? Does that mean the first deliveries are all for dealer stock or the first custom orders wonāt be truly custom?
Thereās plenty of Mach 1/GT350/GT500 folks that daily their cars. Itās really a matter of personal preference. Personally, I buy cars to drive them so if I bought a GT350 or a GT500 you bet Iād drive them frequently or even daily. A 500 would struggle in the snow even with proper tires but a...
They want your business, they just want ALL of it now including aftermarket. Sucks for those guys that built their business around customization for enthusiasts.
I would agree that mild bolt ons will be a thing of the past as it relates to the s650 and Ford wants it that way. Theyāll have setups with Roush, Saleen and Shelby (and Iām sure FP will have some kits as well) and Ford will get a piece of all those sales. So anyone looking for power adders...
Yeah Iād heard different thoughts on timing. Some people thought theyād wait and release it for the 60th anniversary and some thought early release in ā23. I initially thought theyād wait for the 60th but after they announced the date of the unveiling I changed course. Thereās no way they...
I would say that if anyone wants the last MY of the s550, donāt wait because all indications are it will be a short run. From what I saw last night, they are targeting first deliveries of the s650 for summer 2023.
Yeah once the calendar flips to a new year they canāt call anything produced after that the prior year. Thatās mostly why manufacturers start producing the next model year in fall the prior year (thereās probably some sales and logistics reasons too).
I stand corrected on the S. The way they were talking at the reveal last night made it sound like the S was going to be street legal and only the R was not. Makes more sense that both would not be street legal though.
Good question, Iāll ask him next time I see him. He drives it around town most of the year too. Only time I havenāt seen it is right after it snows. Once the roads are cleared he takes it out though.
F Type R in British Racing Green is an absolutely gorgeous car. A guy in my subdivision has one all blacked out and itās a thing of beauty. Sounds great too. BUT, it will break and itās costly when it does.
I think the some of the wheel and brake customization is long overdue. And the Dark Horse S & R as track-ready options is good too. I donāt know, maybe it is the same amount of options as there are currently but it feels to me like theyāre throwing some new options out there for the last hurrah.
You hit the nail on the head for me. The rest of car Iām good with but that dash is a nightmare. Iāll stick with my 2022 until they improve that dash
