Wasn't that supposed to be the Probe? People scoff at the thought of an AWD Mustang, but I can't imagine it ever going FWD. No way they'd get that desperate to keep the Mustang alive...right? (I'd be fine with the V6 returning, but that also seems unlikely as long as the 2.3 EcoBoost continues...
I'm gonna be the outlier and say I want to see a modern take on the SN95/New Edge, but as a hardtop/notchback coupe and convertible. Fortunately for the (hardcore) enthusiasts here, what I want in life is practically 100% guaranteed never to happen.
Let me put it another way if I can.
American Style: 1960s-1970s muscle car, sharp edges and corners, brutal design backed by raw/furious performance
European Style: timeless, somehow the epitome of sexiness inside and out while delivering dominant yet refined performance
Japanese Style...
I'd go with B. Looks like it's got more room for more letters which means more potential uniqueness, plus I like the font used on the top and bottom of the plate.
The most I would do initially are strictly cosmetic. I can't speak for the GTs since I've only test driven a number of them, but I've had my EcoBoost for a few years now and it's a fun daily driver for me, enough so that I've never felt like I needed to mod it. Now granted that's because I'm...
Coming from the practical daily driver side of things, I would say the main things the SS has against it compared to the GT are its rearview blind spots and more cumbersome, smaller trunk (I've never sat in the rear seat of the Camaro, but I'd imagine feeling more cramped [but still be able to...
Imagine if they just went ala carte like Porsche for the '27 models and beyond...😒
(I think 301A with the ActiveX seats and the panoramic dash would be a nice deal, but I highly doubt Ford would be brave enough to do that considering they just made the pano screen optional for 200A/400A.)
It's been fun everyone. (Un)fortunately, I've decided to wait longer indefinitely until I pull the trigger on a Mustang GT. I just simply don't have the money for it right now, and as much as I enjoy cars in general I don't want to go broke for my passion/hobby. In the meantime I'll enjoy...
If I ever finally pull on a new Mustang GT I'll consider sharing that news here.
If I end up getting a non-Mustang (specifically a Prius)? Boy I'd be lying if I wasn't curious to see how baffled this forum would be if I posted about it in an unironically joyous fashion.
But suffice it to say...
1. Lower cost of entry.
2. No superhero mask grille (cleaner looking front end)
3. More comfortable ride.
4. Easier to daily drive in the city or highway.
5. Not as tempting to steal...?
Those are my guesses without watching the video.
It's scary how easy it is to fool people with AI. My parents were excitedly showing me videos of a "Tesla Model 2" and a sub-$20K Toyota coming in the future, and it took me less than a second to know they were AI generated.
When AI can make a nice looking Mustang with a naturally aspirated [hybrid?] V8 that gets 60mpg city/highway and can be bought as a fastback, hardtop/convertible, or sedan/sportback, please get back to me. 🤣
It would need to cost noticeably less than a Mustang (GT) and have massively improved visibility all around for me to pay attention. But then maybe people would say "Ugh it looks too much like a Mustang!"
