I visited my local dealership yesterday and they said I had until the end of June to take advantage of this particular deal. More specifically, I have until then to put in an order for what I want. Sounds like a dream potentially coming true, but I had some thoughts since that conversation...
I finally got a good look of the new Charger in person. Maybe it was the dark blue color, but I thought it looked fine, if big. I think I'll stick with my dream of owning a GT someday though.
As much as I'd like to have a Mustang in whatever color I'd like, I can't imagine such an option costing any less than $5K (current cost for the matte wrap option) at best and who knows how much at worst.
That would be nice to have an all light colored interior, but I can't see Ford offering that as an option.
Foxbodies and SN95s had tealish colors if I remember right. Not sure on New Edges.
For me, either Limelight Green or Gotta Have It Green for a light color...or Ivy Green, Forest Green or Electric Green for a mid/dark color. As long as it doesn't look black in less than ideal weather.
I will continue to play the patience game for the Mach-4 and/or wait to see what changes are made to the S650 GT going forward and post a lot more sparingly accordingly. Thanks everyone.
Yup. Just a filthy casual EcoBoost owner posting his general/random observations from driving various vehicles of varying levels of sportiness, much to the chagrin of hardcore car enthusiasts everywhere. It is what it is, hot takes included.
My manual mishaps aside, I found the ride quality not to my liking and wasn't a fan of the drone at idle.
In other news, I recently test drove a GR Supra. It was a nice vehicle overall, but not enough to persuade me not to consider a GT. Part of me wonders if knowing a lot of its internals were...
If I had an unlimited budget?: If new, DB12, AMG GT55, Panamera Turbo, or Revuelto.
Realistically?: Besides the Mustang GT or Mach-4, I don't know...if I were more ambitious, mechanically inclined and actually had the patience for it, maybe I'd get a stick shift New Edge GT as a project/weekend...
