I'm not going to wade into the Ford vs. Chevy thing, but as has been mentioned, I think the big negative for the Mustang is the cost. It just doesn't seem to provide the performance relative to its price, and its interior is basically base Mustang Ecoboost.
Yeah, that sucks, and I've even seen 3D chrome-like dealer labels put on cars. Many, many years ago one of my brothers was shopping for a car and the local dealership normally glued that type of dealer logo on it, and my brother told him to take it off. The salesmen said "That's just the way...
An owner of a GTD and an owner of C8 ZR1 drive each other's cars and compare notes. I've seen reviews of the GTD and almost every one of them comments on how it's a better and more comfortable road car than they expected, and this comparison is no different. They're both impressive vehicles...
Yes, it's pretty technical. I am at work, so only able to watch bits of it during breaks and haven't gotten all the way through, but it's got a lot of tech info in it.
I don't understand what you mean - because I used the type of transmission I'm most familiar with, and learn better how to use it on a track, I'm more likely to crash or something?
Oh, I just saw your previous post - never mind, I don't really care what you meant.
As smurfslayer said, I would go with the same as the car that I own, so I gain the experience in using what I've got, and how it reacts under those conditions. I just think it would connect me more to my own car.
Someone in the comments said that the GTD cornered faster, but that the C8 outran it in the straights. Assuming the C8 driver(s) were not top-end race drivers as was said, I suppose it's possible that the C8 could go faster in the corners. I'm not sure how much is left in the GTD.
I don't watch them a lot, but I think it's a fairly good and succinct way to get a feel for how two vehicles compare in performance. I'm not sure this particular one makes a lot of sense, as I doubt there are very many people cross-shopping these two, but at least it gives people an idea of how...
I'm not sure there's anything new here, but Top Gear looked at the GTD. It looks to me like they looked at it before the Nurburgring run but then updated the video before putting it up.
Yeah, I think the EV credits, as well as car prices going up in general. I think they were around $35 when released, but all cars have gone way up since then.
And BTW, I didn't bold the price in that last post to make a point or anything, that's just how it pasted in.
