@Yamazuki Just FYI, you don't need to update all those lines in the BCM. I was perusing through the Premium and GTD as builts earlier and I noticed none of them had all the options under 726-18-01 enabled. Only the last one, which is "Approach Detection_Vehicle Enable" needs to be changed...
Moving through the Forscan spreadsheets... I found this. I think you have to program it on both LDCMA and LDCMB. I have no idea if this setting is specific to the headlights, or just the side markers, but maybe worth a shot.
I feel it's worth noting, while messing with Forscan this morning, I noticed it picked up a "steering column control module" in my 100A. I have a manual steering column in this car. Not a feature I really care about but possibly an upgrade path for those who are interested
I went back to AsBuilt config a few minutes ago. After an hour or so driving I couldn't take it anymore. My ears were hurting. Setting both to 0 is not doing what we intend. I need to do some research on this. I suspect maybe I need to run a 2 or 3 for the first column. Will report back.
Went through and did this tonight.
Worth noting @DarkkMatter, you set your ESE to enabled in Step 7.
On my car, I already had 1 and 0 respectively.
Set both to 0 and I definitely killed the ESE, but I think I might have set the ANC into overdrive or something. I know the feeling of noise...
Can someone explain the TwoWayRKE_Enable option?
I'm evaluating options on why I can't get my remote start key to work with a base 100A. I'm wondering if this has something to do with it. My key registers as successfully programmed, but the programming doesn't hold, and none of the...
They won't care. What they care is the bottom line-the value that you paid for the car. I promise they're not going to budge to help you out for aftermarket stuff.... in the same way they wouldn't let my wife sneak in a few additional options for her new Expedition because it would be a few...
As someone that just swapped mine out, that plug is super easy to get to. It will take you 30 seconds for the front, maybe 2 minutes for the back. Just need a 7mm for the back screws to pull back the fender liner.
Stupid question, but what's with side markers in EU? I can't imagine this...
okay, I FINALLY figured out how to repeat the procedure. I can do it almost consistently now.
KEY IN SLOT
Hit start button, 2 seconds, then OFF
within 1 second, swap the keys
The procedure works every time with those timings. I actually tried it with the amazon key I had, the first time it...
So this is actually crazy, but I just got the programming procedure to 'work' right now. It said new key programmed on the dash, got the flash of the lights and everything. The difference this time was I did it 'a little quicker' and I kept all the keys in the same cubby as the backup slot...
I'm right there with you. I just haven't had the luck. Do you have any tips on the timing? According to the Mach-E forums it's critical as well.... then some guy followed up with "I finally gave up and gave it only a second between key swaps and it worked!" Doh. Theres so much...
So just to follow up, the front seat covers matched up fine for me. The rear seats definitely do NOT match. The backs were fine for me, however the butts were a little off, particularly where the seat belt holes are. The angles were wrong and about an inch off.
So after weeks of attempts, amazon fob, and now a genuine OEM Mustang FOB, I haven't been able to program a third key to the car. I am attempting to add a remote start key to a bare bone base 2025 Ecoboost 100A. I've bounced around with the 2 key in the slot trick, tried every variation of...
Haha. I'd never take it in. I do almost all my vehicle stuff on my own, it's not that wrapping would be hard, I'm just not experienced with it. Looking back on it, I found out I did literally one of the most difficult jobs with one of the most difficult wraps. It held up for 3 years before I...
Any specific recommendations? I've done a little wrapping before on a grill, probably worst case scenario. It came out alright. Flat surface should be alot easier.
I have the dealership investigating mine right now for a similar issue. It comes in around 70 and gets most prevalent around 78 mph. I'm confident it's a driveline vibe, but unsure if it's a u joint, carrier or otherwise. The dealership tech acknowledged it, but tested/measured all the...
Well damn, I really didn't want to black out my roof with the heat and all, but this is really making me want to. I got the cheapest ecoboost on the lot and she just feels rather vanilla.
I've never understood having global open but not global close.
That being said... on my 2017 Super Duty you could do some forscan mods to get global close to work on both front windows. I haven't gone down the rabbit hole with the Mustang yet, but soon.
