  1. Slower than average 0-60 times

Sorry to hear this about your 0-60 times. My '25 DH has 275 Pirelli P Zeros and it will hook hard with the 10R80 10 speed with 3.55 gears. Tires make a huge difference.
  2. Steeda H pipe vs stock ave

I have a double H pipe with high flow resonators on my '25 DH. It is a deeper rumble than stock. The S650s seem to really like the H pipes. I can't stand the raspy X pipes, but it's personal preference.
  3. Filter Wraps

My '14 John Deere 24 HP Kawasaki 2 cylinder has a sock over the factory dry paper filter. It makes the OEM filter a breeze to clean. I love it.
  4. How's your wheel hop?

    Here's what I put on:
  5. How's your wheel hop?

I just put a Steeda Stop-the-Hop kit on my '25 DH along with a Whipple. The kit will do what you're after.
  6. Jack recommendation

I have a set of these from Amazon. They work fine.
  7. Best mode for drag racing

Agree. First mod I made was a rear cradle support (Stop The Hop kit). It really helps keep the tires planted.
  8. Whipple finally installed!

I understand. I've just never been afraid of getting the appropriate manuals and tools and going for it. Of course I do have a pretty extensive set of tools and a deep understanding of what is going on in most engines. Background knowledge is very valuable in learning new procedures. Guess I'm...
  9. Overflow Oil Can, Necessary?

Yes, forced induction with a 12:1 engine does create blow by. The vapor separating catch cans definitely assist in stopping oil from building up in your intake system.
  10. Whipple finally installed!

The intermittent cylinder killing of the ignition at the rev limit induces a high frequency oscillation, the harmonics of the frequency induced cause the cyclic loading to multiply, resulting in possible failures, especially with a repeated occurrence.
  11. Whipple finally installed!

I'm a long time horsepower junkie. I'm having a Whipple installed on my '25 DH right now. I see the billet OPGs and timing sprocket as insurance. The only time they really make a difference is if you really push the revs to the rev limiter under boost. This induces harmonics in the engine that...
  12. 170° stat with Whipple Ford, racing stock, tune

My tuner is installing a Whipple on my '25 DH. I'm going with the twin electric fans and the Bosch high flow coolant pump for the Whipple heat exchanger. He said that he sees very little difference in the intake charge temp with a thermostat change. I see this as insurance.
  13. Software updates, automatic

I just had an update come in. I noticed it right after I started up. It offered a tour of the updates.
  14. Warranty

Whipple Superchargers offers a 3-year/36,000-mile limited powertrain warranty on select new, dealer-installed Stage 1 supercharger kits for Ford vehicles. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, often covering the engine and transmission if installed by an authorized installer.
  15. Whipple or Roush?

My bad. He's on a stage 2 and has a small blower pulley that's a 10 rib. He has gobs of other mods on the car. Significant lightening (carbon fiber wheels, drive shaft, and half shafts).
  16. Oil filter for 2025 GT Mustang

My first choice: Mobil One filters, number 2, Motorcraft Filters. Look at the Beta ratings on filters, they can be tricky to understand so I suggest you dig into it. There are some very decent articles out there. Some manufacturers, I believe, are purposely secretive about their Beta numbers...
  17. Where is the Coyote V8 built?

I drove a '68 'stang with a 289 4V 4 speed top loader in Chicago Loop traffic several times in the 1980 era. Complete pain in the butt. I'd find myself in gridlock and I'm amazed I didn't kill the throw out bearing. I tend to get anxious in super thick traffic and caught myself clutching and...
  18. Whipple or Roush?

I went Whipple on my '25 DH. Their warranty allows oil pump and timing sprocket upgrades. My tuner has a S550 doing 8's on a Stage 2 Whipple.
  19. Putting the Coyote in Another Car

My best friend is putting a 2011 Coyote with the M82 in a 2200 pound Factory 5. He's using an IRS from a 2018 GT donor.
