Dial shifters were done as space savers on later model Fusions. Could easily be true on specific Explorers and the big DCT in the GT500. My 2010 Fusion Sport has a stick in a his and hers type configuration. I still use it as my daily driver, I basically bought a bunch of Steeda parts for it...
I'd been keeping my eyes open for a very likely collectable Mustang since I sold my '82 GT that had been very heavily modded back in 1990. That old GT was loaded, t-tops, narrowed 9 inch, 3.91 gears Detroit locker, T-5, pro built 343 small block with a set of aluminum heads, Holley 750 DP...
Has anyone had any experiences to share with the "German Graphine" spray coatings being advertised more and more lately? I'm curious but would like to know if the stuff really works or is yet another scam.
I'm up very soon on my '25 DH! Whipple stage 1 (for warranty), Lethal double H, "Stop the Hop" kit, and billet oil pump gears for insurance. I'm doing a double oil vapor catch can with the install. Stage 2, headers, and high flow cats after the warranty expires.
My dyno man said stage 1 should be fine unless I do back to back full throttle blasts repeatedly. Stage 2 will definitely want high flow cats, which I have ready to install along with my LT headers.
That's amazing, I'm doing the same with my '25 DH. I am putting a double H pipe on at the same time. I had long talk with my dyno and build shop owner and he pulled up the Whipple warranty and we can't change anything inside the engine or exhaust cats forward or the warranty will be void. When...
Actually, my friend's house is only about 4 miles from our local Costco. I used his shop compressor and put in 40 psi, jumped in and made it to Costco with about 21 psi remaining. They weren't that busy and fixed it right away. I've had them fix punctures several times and have never had a...
I've had nothing but fantastic results running the Michelin PS4S tires on cars I have. I was a bit disappointed when I found that Ford put the Pirellis on the DH. When my Pirellis are cooked I'll definitely go back to Michelins.
Well, I had a real nutty afternoon. My 2025 DH had a flat on the left rear. I went to help a friend with his car and when I was ready to leave, my driver's side rear tire was flat! I'm at Costco getting it fixed. What kick in the teeth. It has just under 400 miles on those Pirellis. Fortunately...
I paid for my Dark Horse when I picked it up. My aunt passed away and left me enough to pay for a '25 DH Premium. I do have several charitable donations it sounds like I can deduct now!
I'll check it out. I only have about 340 miles on the car with it being winter. It was 61° here yesterday and I had it out to get a Whipple and cat back quote.
Originally set my seats to 3 on heat. Now every time I remote start the seats are on 3. My old Escape always started with the seat heaters off. It must be in the presets now.
