Yes, E85 is all over in Southern Indiana. There's even a alcohol plant near here that makes a gazillion gallons of alcohol for automotive use. My goal is a tuner that will make 93 tune and a second E85 tune. If worst case occurs, I can switch back to 93 and be okay.
Fascinating discussion. I have a 2010 Fusion Sport that I've had since new and I've found the all season Michelin PS tires the best I've had on it. I use that car as my daily driver and the Michelins are the first tires I've had on it that come close to holding traction. Goodyear F1s...
I just got invoice pricing on my '25 DH premium. It was about 18 days ago. It's Grabber Blue and 700A package. I'll have to get my paperwork out, but I was able to drive off the lot the same day while it only had 3 miles on the odometer. I'm not disappointed at all!
Thanks for the feedback. I go ahead and get the stuff on the car and see what happens. I may give Wengerd a call and see what he says after my warranty. I have a 2010 Fusion Sport and put a 93 octane tune on it and what a difference! Of course, it only has simple Steeda mods on it but I've had...
Okay, I've invested in 1 7/8" long tube headers with high flow cats, a Lethal Performance 3" Double H pipe with dual resonators, a vapor catch can, and K&N filters for my 2025 DH. I assume I need a tune to optimize this set of mods. I don't have the headers or H pipe yet, but I want to be ready...
As the old saying goes, break it in easy and it will run easy, break it in hard and it will run hard. But that was 40 years ago. I specifically asked about break in periods when I took delivery of my 2025 DH. The guy seemed to have a very solid understanding and he called the service manager to...
Speed matters, and I bought mine to be fast. You want a stick, you buy a stick. If I want an automatic and go faster, I'll buy an automatic. To each his own. To me, it's all about getting there first. I've had bunches of both and it all boils down to performance to me. If you want to row the...
I agree completely. Try Drag mode and paddle shift at 7250. It hits like a hammer. Love that shift. I have a CJ automatic mustang and the tire bark on the 1-2 shift is a blast. It's personal taste as to what you want. Personally, I want it to be as fast as possible, and that means the A10.
I've had several manual cars and several racing built automatic cars over the years. There's no denying that the sticks are fun to drive, but there's also no denying that, all else being equal, the automatic cars are faster. I love the fact that the A10 Dark horse cars are 0.4 seconds faster...
Oh, I meant to mention, I got it for dealer invoice! They have a 2026 coming in and wanted the '25 sold. They even showed me the factory price (Yeah, I know they get a holdback and incentives from Ford), but hey, I saw '24s still selling above sticker from everyone in my area! When I saw that...
I get it, but if an automatic is faster, so be it. I see the automatic as an advantage due to the lightening quick shifts and keeping the engine closer to peak torque and HP. For me, it's all about the performance and fastest quarters and lap times.
Just got my Grabber Blue 700A 11 days ago. I'm leaving it alone change wise except some totally hidden mods. Mine's a 10 speed slectshift. I know most want a stick, but you can't out shift the automatic. I'll take 0.4 tenths off the line every day of the week. Pulls hard, handles great. Be...
