I love these threads. Nobody will ever change anybody else's opinion.
Here is my opinion: I run on 87 all the time and never have a single issue. If I heard even the slightest bit of pinging or pre-detonation, I'd worry, but I don't... not even when getting on it. Why? It's tuned...
Escort iXc Radar Detector with Mirror Tap
Date completed: 11/22/24
The Escort iXc is nothing fancy, and sure isn't new, but man does it have some long-range detection! If it ain't broke, don't fix it (or spend $800 for a new one!).
Here's all you need to know about tapping into power...
@tj@steeda thanks for the reply! Did they tell you what this plate is for?
Also - I was thinking: could the jacking rail slide in between the car's frame and this mysterious plate? I checked - it does line up with the holes this way. Then the plate would be at a slight angle, though, which...
Same... but I gave them a try on my 2015. Something like the link below. Gotta be hubcentric, of course. A good 6 years or so on the car and no issues. I even hit a curb cutting a corner two tightly in a dark parking lot - it caught the right rear tire. Huge bang and cracked the rim. I had...
Talking about offsets, the 9.5" rim has a 7.5mm greater offset than the 9.0" rim, so they stick out (almost) exactly the same (the difference is .025"). I'm going to look into wheel spacers, either 20mm or 25mm, to bring both the front and back out a little bit.

This thread tells the whole story, but I did end up going for the Carbonized Gray rims... obviously, or I wouldn't be writing this.

Another simple modification I do pretty quickly is to cover the ugly white/yellow warning labels on the sun visors.
There are cheaper options (vinyl), but these are actually made out...
Here's one example: I never take my car to get new tires installed. I take the four wheels in my wife's Edge, have the new tires put on, and take them home. I don't trust tire places and would mount and balance them myself, if I could.
But, yes, once there all off, I do wash the inside of...
It's gotta be for liability purposes. I'm glad you agree, but for others, one can see from my pic that it doesn't even come close to putting the car in a precarious position. The weight distribution is nicely spread out.
I am curious, though... is it the vendor (CJ Pony Parts) that is...
Where have you seen that? I have had the car (both cars now) up on four jack stands many times. I've never had an issue and it couldn't be more solid.
I don't take the tires off until all four jack stands are in place (just in case, although there has never been anything close to something...
I wouldn't own a Mustang without these. A few pumps right in the dead center with a floor jack, and the entire side of the car is in the air. If you rotate tires front to back, easy.
If you want all four tires off, jack up the one side, put jack stands under the rails, and jack up the other...

Definitely should be one of the first additions to any S650... these make tire rotation a breeze!
Installation is a piece of cake, but there is one thing that I have not...
If you change from normal mode to sport mode, the steering changes from normal to sport, as it should. When you move to track mode, the steering stays in sport mode since there isn’t a track mode for steering.
Yes. The Dark Horse spoiler is a bit more aggressive and comes with a gurney flap.
Different spoiler being added, but here is how to remove the "module".
