I'd wait until after the 60th anniversary in April. I doubt Ford would pass up the opportunity to reveal something at that show. I'm thinking something with a 5.4 in it.
I really hope that's not all it is given this install. The car is overpowered and can't hook up. They need to release a car that harnesses that power with suspension and tires that can handle it.
Because they want to play with the big boys at the ring and in the highest echelons of racing. The Ford GT cost far more than a GT3RS. This is an attempt to compete at a price point closer to the that car.
I have heard that Ford will reveal a new model at the 60th anniversary in April that...
Some Canadian specialty shop :cwl:
You should really stop. This is the point in a conversation where everyone looks at eachother in acknowledgement that you don't know what your'e talking about.
To that process, I was a Snap-On dealer a long time ago. Right next to the tool box of the majority of techs/mechanics I called on weekly was a five gallon bucket of nuts, bolts and fasteners.
Something to ponder. How much did the purchaser have to pay for the Shelby name on their Mustang? Whatever that was, would you rather have had that money put into further performance enhancements, higher quality interior, better panel fitment and paint quality, or a lower price?
Sweet Shelby bro
After '68 Carrol Shelby had nothing to do with anything Ford was doing. He just slapped his name on anything he could make money off of. Pretty good gig that guy had going all those years. People paid hard earned cash for that snake badge. I bought the GT350 because...
Yeah the Shelby comes with a time bomb under the hood. That engine is known for eating oil and shitting the bed (even though I love it). In five years it will only be worse, those engines are not going to last. How much does that engine cost again, $30K?
The Coyote has stood the test of time...
I agree that the Shelby name needs to be put to rest. The name is steeped in history but to dress a modern car in snakes and stripes with the Shelby name is by definition fake. You may as well call it a Shelby tribute, because that's what any of the cars badged Shelby are when he or his shop had...
My experience with the MT-82 in two '13 B302's was lackluster at best. If there haven't been any updates with that transmission in the new GT, enjoy the 3rd gear grind when trying to accelerate. For that reason alone I'd go with the DH. I haven't any negative comments about the Tremec and that...
I have to say that I've changed my opinion of Cammisa. I still don't care for some of the antics in his vids, but he took Matt Farah to the wood shed over his criticism of his Cybertruck vid. That was good to see.
