  1. Thinking of moving on.

I’m the OP and I did move on. I cancelled my order for my loaded ecoboost and bought a 2024 BMW 430i loaded convertible. While it was more $$ the features justified the price difference in my mind. Things like heads up display, hidden hard - soft top, power folding mirrors, almost usable rear...
  2. Thinking of moving on.

Not a good reason to buy the Mustang. My Hybrid Highlander gets 35 mpg. I’ll drive it 90% of the time.
  3. Thinking of moving on.

Price isn't an issue. The Z is too much like our S2000 - Too low Z
  4. Thinking of moving on.

We're 90 days since order and Ford has made little progress building our 24 Ecoboost premium convertible. We have no skin in the game and I sold our trade right after we ordered the car. I'm going to look at a 24 BMW 430i convertible tomorrow. Sure, it's 10K+ more than the Mustang but looks...
  5. Dreaded 45-day supply chain delay email

I got the same email. I’m patient and don’t really have need for another car - but.
  6. No mustang for me :(

690 Co-signer may need a co-signer. A co-signer needs to be special since he/she gets nothing out of the deal but a thank you and a beer. Oh and a liability without an asset. in my career, I’d only take a close blood relative and never a 690.
  7. Storage Time

I would at least leave comprehension coverage on your car. If you have it financed, you’ll have problems removing insurance.
  8. No mustang for me :(

OP said “14% At 64k+ with a co-sign with a down payment of 20% percent of the car worth” I wonder if you’re in a phase in your life where you really need a $64k+ car. I know you really want this car. Even at 8% with 20% down and 72 months, your monthly would be $900 plus insurance. If you need...
  9. How many others had their builds start early?

Mine has been in production for 10 days but no window sticker. My in production dot is green - for what that’s worth.
  10. How many others had their builds start early?

Mine moved up a week also. Same screen as OP but no window sticker yet. Race red convertible auto ecoboost loaded.
  11. Mustang GT Arrived at the Dealership in Utah

From the feel of your post, I would recommend you just walk away. I assume you have adequate transportation at present. If you spend a bucket load of cash on this car, it’s a bucket load you can’t use for other things that come along. I retired from banking after 45 years and, believe me...
  12. With a sad heart I am letting my 2024 Order go.....

That’s the classy thing to do.
  13. First 2024s arriving at dealers in AZ

Also in Tucson in the waiting mode. Hoping the union calls a time out and I get my Ecoboost convertible in 40 days.
  14. Pros vs cons, red vs white

We have only owned one white car. Our 2024 is to be Dark Red Metallic. That’s the fastest color. Way too many white cars on the road.
  15. Convertible top care and maintenance

This 2024 will be my 5th convertible. I have always used 303 on the tops. My last ride was a 2006 Honda S2000 that I sold last week. The factory top looked like new 17 years later. I sprayed it after every other hand wash. The car was always garaged when not speeding down the road.
  16. Convertible Production Scheduled!

2024 Ecoboost Premium loaded ordered August 2 to be built October 2. Hurry up Ford.
  17. S650 GT or C7/C8

Two very good friends have C8s. I seriously considered one to replace my 2006 Honda S2000. Getting in and out of my S2000 is getting more difficult as we approach the mid 70s. The Mustang is far easier on old bodies.
  18. Mustang Retail Scheduling This Week (8/17/23) for Production Weeks 10/2 - 10/23

Just got my email from Ford - Ordered 8/2 to be built 10/2. Loaded Ecoboost convertible.
  19. What options did you get and why? No ETA talk allowed on this thread

I ordered the premium ecoboost convertible in rapid red metallic. I put every option I could on the car. We drove a '23 GT and I was afraid the constant drone of the V8 would be a pain on trips over 20 miles. .....and I'm no kid looking for the fastest ride on the block.
  20. What are you upgrading from?

2006 Honda S2000. We've had this car for 15 years and love it. Entry and exit are getting a bit difficult as we are getting older. It's for sale this week. The darn thing is worth about what it cost new.
