Yeah; 90% I have surveyed of my friends and family have taken the SVE over Trident so far.
I would totally go with the Firestone but I don’t like that the rear diameter on the 325/30 is less than the fronts, that’s a negative rake no?
Hey all, looking for some final advice before I pull the trigger on a summer setup here in Chicago area. Just sold the stock heavy wheels and Perrelli tires with 5k mile on them for $1400 on Facebook marketplace.
I have dedicated all-seasons for winter months so this will be for summer only and...
Ok, just got back from highway drive and I got cruise control and adaptive cruise control working. Normal mode with traction control on.
My custom mode is Sport with traction control off and this must of been the issue, not the taller tires.
I’m running 285/35r20 & 315/35r20
Mystery solved
Sold my stock non-hp Dark Horse wheels and tires last night. 5000 miles on them…$1400
So now I have it narrowed down to the black SVE SP2 or the Steeda Satin Black wheels .
Here’s a good article on how wheel weight affects performance

I agree. Most of the reputable tuners are drag racers and that’s mostly what they care about, imo
You would think Steeda would focus on a more road course tune since suspension is their focus
This is great info, much appreciated!
I’m trying to keep wheels and tires under $3k since I just spent that for my 20” SVE CFX wheels and Continental DWS winter setup.
I also need to sell my stock wheel / tires before I buy anything.
I really love the RTR Tech 7’s like I had on my Mach 1 but...
Hey guys, I'm looking at selling my stock non-HP Dark Horse wheels and tires for something a little wider.
SVE wheels are around 24lbs.
I weighed my stock front 255/40r19 tires/wheel today and they came in at 63lbs.
If the tire weighs 28lbs max then that means the wheel is 35lbs. Is this...
No, just look under the overflow tank, see if any signs of coolant dripping from the connection tubes underneath.
You can see all underneath where it would drip onto wheel well metal and down to plastic undercarriage
Well , I kinda think that’s the same.
The settings are how aggressive you want that throttle to be. The modes like normal, sport , track, drag still work the same which would address your linear throttle. The controller just enhances the response in these modes
