From what my friend told who’s a Ford engineer…. They are meant to be driven hard, at higher RPM’s If you baby them and drive like a grandpa then that’s when the oil issues and piston problems start happening. They really are race engines not meant for the street.

Buy a DH and put a whipple or ESS on it + Full Steeda Suspension and still have $40k in your pocket.

All I do is troubleshoot electronics and computers so i always start with removing different factors to narrow the problem down. Watch gear numbers on dash to see. If it is then yes transmission. Or differential. If still happens in neutral then more likely suspension or chassis.

Is the trans down shifting when coasting to stop and you hear the clunk? does it happen if you put the car in Neutral and coast to a stop ?

is this an auto trans with a clunk when you put it in gear or is this a suspension clunk when you hit a bump?

Trim in vehicle, I pulled it and it unclipped but the floor molding seems to be in way of getting it completely off. I need to get back under and try harder probably
