my bad< I'll try to keep up better. I was talking about the 9secondko guy who was quoted upthread and thought we were talking about him ;) I have no doubt Speed Phenom will have a ZR1, Zora and GTD.

I don't know the guy but based on his posts I don't think he is ever buying a ZR1, Z06, GTD or anythink like those. He is rocking a 20+ year old mustang and seems like the guy to build it instead of buy it. Not a cut at all.

I'm not sure I understand. If you don't like the screens, why did you buy the car? Did they get worse after the test drive?

not a good deal at all. It's a used car. A year and a half old. Unless I missed it, I don't see a window sticker or reference to original MSRP anywhere on that page. Someone said 10K off. You can buy new in the wrapper 24 GT's starting at 8-9K off right now at most Mid Atlantic dealers. Still...

agreed with all of the above. Honestly NASCAR started dying about when Earnhardt died. Not just because of his loss, but all the BS that started afterwards. Car of tomorrow, "parity" of cars, stages, etc. It will never go back to what it was in the 60's and 70's. What a shame. If you want to see...

so, how many sources have we seen to confirm the GTD weight? If only one so far i think we should wait until someone else confirms the earlier posted weight.

I wonder if they will ever get the tuning? Why beat your head against the wall when Whipple has been the go to for years and it's completely plug and play?

not faulting you at all if the driving aids were on. One would hope that the systems work to save it but I know if and when I get a new car absolutely all aids will be off. I buy cars to drive, not be driven by software. As far as i am concerned it's nowhere near ready for prime time.

did you have all the driving aids turned on? that was the first mistake. Looks totaled. for your sake, I hope so.

exactly what would be expected. And it shows what I've always expected. Cat Back and cold air look and sound really good, but cars today are at close to maximum efficiency. Those mods just don't add as much today as they did with earlier cars.

and how can anyone complain with what we've got now. Low 12's to high 11's stock. Worth the price anyday, but it still seems like a lot (the price)
