that's a real good price with tires. Someone should take you up on this real soon. They can have a set for summer (good tires) and winter (all season or true winters)
BS. 40K plus sales with the factory closed for a month. Would have probably been close to 50K if not for that.
Mustang sales are strong and will continue into the future. Bet they get closer to 50K this year, even with the new high prices.
Close, but not quite. In 1969, Chevy made 3 427's. 390, 425 and 435 HP. The 435 had solid lifters and 3 2 barrel carbs. The other 2 had 4 barrel carbs.
Correction: There were 118 aluminun head 427's (L88) built in 1969, but they were very rare. The option was very expensive and most were used...
as said, no harm done. after 500 miles I would start driving more aggressively anyway. As far as the burning smell, could still be paint burning off from the heat.
