I follow you on several forums and mostly think like you about things automotive. But I disagree here. At least in my case. I am 73 and have raced cars and bikes for more than 55 years. I still autocross and drag race and ride motorcycles. Maybe my reaction time is not quite what it was as 20...

are you willing to take the 15-20k hit your used car with 20k+ miles will take? sounds like this is not the car for you. Nobody else seems to be having these problems.
