I'd avoid a hopped up used car like the plague. It MAY have been well treated, but there is no way to know that, and I would not take the chance, regardless of price. If you go into it without worrying about resale, and to just enjoy the car, have at it.

Says my 47 years in the car business. Extended crank is turning over without starting, like a car thats out of gas. You won't get that with a weak battery, that is a won't crank condition.

An extended crank has nothing to do with a battery.
