It was the launch edition in the end. Not hearing any whine at least while in the cabin. They said there wouldn't be much at the start. Not sure how true that is or not but we'll see. All I can say is that this car is a BEAST now. And I thought it was great just stock!
Just want to say, I had the Roush Phase 2 put on my GT on Friday. They advised I not go TOO crazy with it for a few hundred miles. So I haven't slammed the accelerator to the floor. But oh wow...I can tell this is like a completely different car. It is SCARY fast now. Totally worth it. This...
Well, I've had things resetting...more often when I first got the car but seemed to be settling down. Just had them put a supercharger on the car Friday and figured everything would be reset with battery disconnect. But all seemed fine when I got it back. Checking deeper in the settings...
That is really odd. Are you SURE the home button won't work if you tap it? No other dialogue windows are open? I would try removing your iPhone from the Sync system. Then set it up again from scratch maybe. Even if your source is just bluetooth sync instead of CarPlay or something, the HOME...
Very nice! Welcome and I'm newer here myself, but I can say that this is a great place to learn and to get your questions answered even if, like me, you have a bunch of "dumb newbie" questions! :)
Ok, here's one link to it. The "launch edition" has a laser etched signature and I was told they may have made only a smaller number of them. This site lists it for $11k. Most sites I've seen list the NON "Launch edition" for about $9k...
I've been looking at the Roush Phase 2 kits. Seeing the "launch edition" kits being sold for a few thousand $$ more than the "regular" ones. I heard that this was because only a few of the "Launch Edition" were made, but haven't been able to confirm. Anyone else know about this?
I've been seeing the Roush Phase 2 "Launch edition" kits being sold for $2-3k more than the "standard" versions. Anyone else know why that is? I have heard there were a limited number of those produced, which might explain the extra cost....
Does anyone know how many of the Roush Phase 2 'Launch editions' were made? Seeing them for sale for a few $k more than the "plain" Roush Phase 2 supercharger kits.
Can you confirm how many of these "Launch Edition" units were made or available? I was told there were only 100 of them made? Just not seeing that confirmed anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.
I agree. I LOVE how my GT Premium sounds with the active exhaust. I like being able to make it quieter in case a cop gets behind me who might be a jerk about things. Peace of mind!
Makes sense. I guess, whether you go with traction on or off, you'd better get familiar with the car so that you can most effectively deal with a bad situation should it arise. And...not driving like a moron likely helps as well. :)
Ooof. Sorry about that. That sucks. I know there's a good bit of difference between those years rear ends and the current. Just hard to sort out all the noise. Bottom line, it's clearly better to be driving defensively and not like an idiot. Even then, someone ELSE can take you out but at...
I keep seeing conflicting things though. Some say that having traction control and stability control on is what CAUSES a lot of those mishaps you see on YouTube where someone slams into the crowd or a pole. The one commenter talks about Mustangs having a secret 'target the crowd' feature...
Well, BMW did abandon using Hydrogen for COMBUSTION but have continued to develop fuel cell technology. Might want to look up the BMW IX5, which has been shown quite a bit over the past few year. Toyota actually has a hydrogen fuel cell car for SALE today. It's the 2025 Mirai. So it is out...
Yeah, I'm with you. Petroleum products are even FAR more than just gas and oil. We depend on them for a LOT and I don't see that changing any time soon or any time later, actually. Even if we DO move to something like this hydrogen, we'll still need petroleum products for all the other...
