No, just talking about random settings that reset to defaults. For example, my car periodically defaults the "ambient lighting" setting to the default amber color. Used to also lose other settings but lately, just that one. Bizarre stuff! :)

This is just dumb though. It doesn't sense if your hands are on the wheel, it senses if the wheel hasn't manually been moved by you in the past 15-20 seconds and then goes off.

The thing is...this literally comes up every 15-20 seconds. So even if you're on a long, straight piece of road, you have to keep jiggling the wheel or it will beep and yell at you. Ridiculous! My wife's care does this but it actually senses if your hand is on the wheel and will only freak out...

Man, is it as annoying for everyone else? It goes off WAY too quickly and way too much. My wife's car has a similar feature, but it doesn't bother you if your hands are actually on the wheel. Seems like Ford went super cheap here and it's super annoying.

Ah, I see. From running too rich/hot. I've never had that happen with cars from using that type of product in the past, but then again, it's not like I used them EVERY time.

Yeah, me too. Now at least. Had the car for almost 4 months now. In the first few weeks it seemed to reset at least once or twice a week. And more than just the ambient color...lost my favorite locations in navigation as well, oddly...even though those two systems are separate. But bottom...

I can't speak to the Cobra gauges. No experience with them. This is damn odd though. Still the only thing that resets for me is the ambient color. Goes back to that default amber color once in a while. I'm mystified. I'm now thinking it's not updates. It's just some software bug.

What is the current version of software that's shown? I have my car set to update any day after 1AM but have seen ZERO notification of any updates?

Bingo! Sounds like we all just need to keep our attention on things and make sure our voices are heard if this crap seems like it may come to our areas!
