Trunk Pull Down Tab
This handy item was obtained when I was in the US several months ago.
The idea is, to close your trunk boot, you pull down on the embroidered tab, which helps keep your grubby fingers and hands off the rear deck lid.
Let's get this installed!

I'm a convert!
New to me, and first time use of CarPro Dilute measuring spray bottles.
Check your desired dilution ratio on the product bottle, fill the Dilute bottle with water to that dilution marker level, and top up with the product.
In my case I want Green Star all-purpose cleaner at the...
I'm the odd one out!
I really like the Carbonised Grey OEM GT wheels.
Calipers wise, and many other things, it's nice to leave something up to imagination sometimes. :giggle:
Good to hear Frostee.
More information about the testing routine though.
Do they simply test in default "normal" mode of the car?
Or do they check every available exhaust setting?
What is the pass/fail threshold measurement?
I'd expect that to be nnn dB @ n meters.
Exhaust Tips
The personalisation of my GT continues, with the titanium black exhaust tips from Burg Design being fitted yesterday.
Burg Design refer to them as "titanium black", whereas one of their distributors, Mustang Motorsport, refer to them as "black chrome", but same same.
A very...
Funny you mention this. I was out for a drive last week, and noticed the fogging on the windscreen.... but hang on a moment, I did the windscreen several days earlier, and thoroughly.
The primary reason for getting a shade sail installed almost three years was to protect against the hail...
Window Tinting
Dropped the GT in for window tinting this morning.
Before proceeding, a baseline reading of OEM glass transparency was done.
Initially we were reading 72 - 73 on the driver side window, but moving it along the glass and the reading stabilised at 79.
Although imperceptible to...

Looks good! :like:
Did your installer use the light meter to get a base-line reading on the factory glass?
Would be interesting to know what we're actually starting with.
Two firsts for me, today!
1) Using the Stoner's Reach & Clean Tool
2) Getting into the back seat to clean the rear window
Bringing the passenger seat forward, and then pulling the tab to tilt the seat forward, it didn't seem to provide much of entry path at all.
I could see the headrest...
Is a DIY divorce kit a cheaper option? :giggle:
That was 3rd on the to-do list, one more very easy personalisation mod in between. :like:
That's something I hadn't considered.
Silicone would make them more of a permanent fixture, which might get really ugly if you do want to remove them...
The start of personalisation
After two weeks of ownership, it was time to start delving into the box of goodies I have been stock piling for almost 12 months.
The first, the easiest, was to fit an appropriate decal to the rear window.
This is not a sponsored video - neglected to point that...
It's amazing what a difference there is between endlessly looking at photos and videos of something vs being right there next to it.
I was always unhappy that I couldn't get a rear spoiler via the appearance pack (and immediately removing those kiddy racing stripes!) along with the must-have...
You're most welcome! :like:
Everyone else would be unaware, but I got two of these whilst in the USA back in June.
One for myself, and one for Deyon as a thank you for all his efforts with the detailing information he provides. Personally, I've learnt a lot in the last 12 months.
These...
Phew!!!
I'd say, just a guess, installers are living in the past and assume the glass has no tint, or very little tint to begin with.
The last time I had a new vehicle tinted was January 1995.
A lot has changed in almost 30 years!
Looks like the MY25 Mustang isn't alone in not getting the wireless charging.

I doubt the build quality and durability of a Bronco could match the legendary Toyota Landcruiser, but there is "something" about...
