  1. Dark Horse on fire and burns down (from stuck clutch)

With Jim Farley being a former Toyota employee, I figured he would’ve had some connections to some Toyota engineers to help with quality and improve the manufacturing process. Kinda like what Porsche did in the 90s. It is a huge leap financially of course but like you were saying, long term you...
  2. Dark Horse on fire and burns down (from stuck clutch)

That’s my bad it was a question really. I’m actually curious on how you tackle something like that.
  3. Dark Horse on fire and burns down (from stuck clutch)

I guess the question would be how do you fix the quality and where do you start after the whole strike.
  4. Ford Teases "New Addition to the Mustang Stable" Coming in 2025

Ford Authority is running with it. šŸ˜‚
  5. Ford Teases "New Addition to the Mustang Stable" Coming in 2025

Isn’t the Cobra name just a way of using Shelby without using Shelby if ya know what I mean? šŸ˜‚
  6. Ford Teases "New Addition to the Mustang Stable" Coming in 2025

That’s the crazy part to me when I was doing some comparisons. Shelby’s base GT is at the same price level as the ford performance cars. Look at any comment section and those who aren’t in the know think the Shelby American cars are ā€œfakeā€ now compared to their FP counterparts which is a weird...
  7. Ford Teases "New Addition to the Mustang Stable" Coming in 2025

That’s true but then again the GT350 still has a unique engine and transmission. That’s why I didn’t say make the grill or wheels unavailable or something like that, I was talking more about certain performance upgrades.
  8. Ford Teases "New Addition to the Mustang Stable" Coming in 2025

I like them all for their own reasons. My older brother absolutely loves Saleen since that was the guy in the late 80s and throughout the 90s. Just to set the record straight to anyone thinking I’m hating, I love RTR. Original argument is I don’t think Vaughn is like Carroll Shelby. Lmao.
  9. Ford Teases "New Addition to the Mustang Stable" Coming in 2025

That would be cool too. Jim Farley posted the teaser on his ig again and it has a little different rear bumper you can see, although it’s still a rendered photo šŸ˜‚
  10. Ford Teases "New Addition to the Mustang Stable" Coming in 2025

Yeah I understand that, it’s similar to what Saleen and others do just doesn’t make it stand out in my opinion. That’s true but it’s not like you can’t tell it’s a knockoff/bootleg car though. Lol. It’s a similar issue I see with Shelby American too since that Super Snake released, but...
  11. Ford Teases "New Addition to the Mustang Stable" Coming in 2025

Like I said I like RTR for the most part. Seeing Vaughn drift/drive with normal people at events, being relatable, getting big names in different worlds to drive cars with his badge on it etc, really work in his favor. I just think he walks in his own lane. Only big complaint I have is he makes...
  12. Ford Teases "New Addition to the Mustang Stable" Coming in 2025

I see your point but Carroll himself arguably helped established what the performance Mustang is, then you got Le Mans (winning it and helping Ford eventually win), giving input on production cars etc. He essentially created the whole third party Mustang thing too. RTR to me is more of a...
  13. Ford Teases "New Addition to the Mustang Stable" Coming in 2025

I like RTR but I don’t know about that. Lol
  14. Ford Teases "New Addition to the Mustang Stable" Coming in 2025

If they ever bring back a 4 door V8/V6 sports sedan they should call it a Falcon. That’s essentially what a 4 door Mustang was for awhile and it was legendary over there in Australia
  15. Ford Teases "New Addition to the Mustang Stable" Coming in 2025

I think it’s a Boss. When I look at the Mustang history, the GT350 we got is similar to what a modern Boss would be, whereas a Dark Horse if it lost its rear seat and had other weight savings, is closer to the original formula of the GT350. The Boss like I was saying before was the cool engine...
  16. Ford Teases "New Addition to the Mustang Stable" Coming in 2025

Boss is a big name in Mustang history, it’s Ford’s equivalent of a Z/28. The GT350 could’ve been a Boss essentially if they didn’t pay for that Shelby nameplate. It’s one of the original in house track variants.
  17. Ford Teases "New Addition to the Mustang Stable" Coming in 2025

Probably a Boss since that nameplate has been on ice for a bit.
  18. Suspected Shelby American S650 mule spotted testing

    Yeah it’s a Super Snake
  19. I got to drive a S650 for the first time recently.. I'm underwhelmed

I mean the Alpha platform for Camaro did exactly that man. It was better dynamically too, which is mainly what I would want. Pretty much commit to it being a sports car. Shrink it down a bit.
