I was wondering the same on passing CA smog checks with the LTs as if your part doesn't have a CARB EO#, it would be a fail. No LTs that I know of have a CA CARB EO# as they require a relocation of stock cats. In CA, I believe most aftermarket cats are also now a no go.
In November I had to...
Sounds like it might look pretty cool color matched and your old Mustang picture helps to visualize it. For continuity, you might consider doing the side rockers and the chin spoiler as they are all matched on the car in color and texture. Would they leave the texturing as is on the rear...
What difference does it make for what purpose? Personal edification and future reference for others who might also be interested in such details. You're stating what we already know, what we don't know is what all the actual Ford axle codes are on the door jam stickers, and that is what my...
The window sticker lists the gear as an option with a cost but no actual code for the axle. Looking for the different factory codes on the door jam stickers for each of the installed axles.
Is there a listing somewhere of all the axle codes for the 24-26 Mustangs as shown on he door tags? I did a search here and the on the web and didn't find a list.
Mine has a regular non-PP 3.55 LSD and shows a code of "DT".
Looks like the factory installed gears are:
3.15 LSD
3.55 LSD -...
To the OP and others, thanks for sharing your positive experiences with the mobile sounds like it may be a good way to go for basic maintenance needs. It sounds like they do mobile service for basic warranty and maintenance type jobs.
The lighter aluminum hoods tend to show the flutter as I've not had a car with a heavier steel hood show any flutter. Seems the weight helps to keep the hood from showing flex. Thanks, and I will check the stops on the hood to make sure that are snugged up to the hood.
Back to the original topic, it's hood flutter and due to the hood being made of aluminum. We had a 2018 Accord that also had an aluminum hood and it too would flutter at highway speeds. It was a bit un-nerving at first, but then I didn't pay attention to it after a while. I noticed the...

Nice! Love the factory 18's widened. Too bad they weren't wider stock. Mine came with 18s, but I went with VMRs for a 9.5" on the rear to get 275s under there. Mine has about 22K on it and has been used sparingly as a weekend cruiser.
Greetings all!
Just picked up a 25 GT premium this past Wednesday. I walked by this very car sitting on a dealer's lot every week day for the past 6 months, and was originally drawn to it because of the color. Walking by it everyday got my wheels turning on maybe looking into getting a new...
Seems every engine has it's own characteristic sounds that at first sound odd. My LS2 has a sewing machine type rhythm when idling with the hood up that took getting used to.
