I just don't understand how they can run over 100mph in 4wd. I thought you can only go 50-60 max without trashing the front drive shaft or diff. This is a standard 4wd not some viscous awd.
Apparently you can order them stripped 2 door short bed with a whipple and 4wd!
Must not be too popular. I can't recall being called out by any lowered single cabs!
My last was a 2010 frontier and it was a sad little truck. Very low tech, very unremarkable in every aspect. I did have an 83 280z back in the day and I loved that thing.
I think it would keep them cooler. The sun beating down on the metal frame through the front windshield turns it red hot. Any type of covering will help. A sun screen is a must.
It's wild how they went from selling hundreds of thousands of z cars to men who would tune and race them, to selling a just a few thousand, mostly to female real estate agents.
I remember when Z cars were faster than corvettes. Now they probably couldn't beat a tuned ecoboost mustang. Sad to see what they have become. Why have they been slacking for 30 years? Just because they don't want to out perform the GT-R with the lower spec car?
I think you'd have to be a fool to daily a car like you described.
If you want to daily it get a low spec premium gt for 46k-50k.
If you want to build a supercharged track car get a base GT and supercharge it. Put a real track suspension and wheels on it. You can do way better than the PP...
Scared the shit out of myself leaving it in M instead of auto by mistake. Bouncing off the Rev limiter in first gear is kinda scary.
I think my jeep will actually shift even in M mode instead of grenading the transmission. It just ups the shift point a bit higher.
Lmao no. It's like having a steak with only 97% of the available energy. Unless you are running balls to the wall 24/7 you would never notice the insignificant power loss. And for track days you probably want to run race gas anyway.
Our tiers are 87, 91, 93. Some specialty stations have higher race gas ratings but obviously it's the same as European fuels just calculated differently. I'd imagine some sort of metric vs imperial calculation.
Almost all our fuel is 10% corn juice.
I think its great too but you can clearly tell when someone is lolly gagging with it in the passing lane. Usually a tesla or prius.
The other day I was going over a bridge and 5 different cars passed a dumb ass old guy in a Tesla, when I go around him he floors it trying to crash me. Then he...
For street use a quart low isn't hurting anything. If you are doing laps at laguna seca, maybe. It really doesn't matter what your oil level is as long as the pickup tube stays submerged, and that's near the very bottom of the pan.
Running too light of an oil will cause thermal breakdown and...
