Adaptive cruise works in traffic but yes, even the tailgate setting will leave space for everyone in the slow lane to cut you off. The normal setting will let tractor trailers cut you off. It basically turns you into a boomer driver.

I've been driving a lifted jeep for five years so kind of immune to stoplight anxiety. One thing I have been enjoying is putting the muffler in track mode whenever a Tesla or some other EV is behind me and giving them a good dose of decibels and smog. I'm sure they appreciate it!
