Thanks for the replies. They really should revise the instructions. Unfortunately I put the bead where they instructed(should have run my fingers through on a dry fit). I did add some of the glue into the tight spots after it was on and it seems pretty solid.

I ordered this and there seems to be a large gap on the bottom where they say to put the adhesive. It seem mostly attached with the double sided tape. Anyone else experience the same issue?

Didn’t check that as the OP has a standard GT. I am unsure of how the DH rear end is different. On a side note, Steeda said it wouldn’t fit my GT350 but the IRS braces and the cradle bushings did.
