Give it a rest with your "be grateful" BS. We are getting a massively detuned car for an exorbitant price, if these numbers are correct, and apparently also won't be getting the handling pack.
Exhaust popping is the calling card of a moron, and shouldn’t be on a Mustang. It’s something I would expect on something like a Audi hatchback with a 2 litre turbo, not a NA V8.
Not with the new M2, there is near universal agreement that thing looks dreadful. Only people that disagree are those paid by BMW or have eyesight like Stevie Wonder.
I heard an ecoboost go past the other day and to be honest i was embarrased for the driver, it was not a good sound, maybe the S650 has improved on this.
In the UK, Ford doesn't sell the ecoboost anymore, due to such poor sales.
There’s no debate, the S650 is an improvement over the S550 refresh/facelift which was a truly awful front end design.
However I would say the S550 Shelbys and pre the facelift, is a closer contest with the S650.
The S650 appears to be a good looking car and so was the S550 pre the facelift. I just don’t know what happened to the design department with the 2018 facelift S550 cars!
I read somewhere that Ford had a lot of criticism from market research groups on the S550 facelift and that’s why didn’t...
He mentions about long gearing. Not sure why manufacturers do this? Porsche do the same. Not particulary helpful on a road car when when 2nd gear tops out at around 90mph.
Anyway interesting to see what of that Mustang remains in tact this side of the pond, by the time the committee of...
For all the criticisms of the European Mustang with lack of handling pack, less than 450hp Dark Horse etc - the design especially the front is a huge improvement over the 2018 S550 refresh.
Lamborghini maybe but Porsche are two to a penny in UK. Can pick up a Cayman GTS for about ÂŁ70k.
Anyway without wanting to get side tracked, look at the kit on the previous gen Honda Civic Type R! Telling me that Honda can produce this and Ford can’t give us in Europe even some of the US...
Yes I think you’re right. But seems like a perfect storm of bureaucratic EU regulations and Ford being too lazy to at least try and homologate. Look at the stuff Porsche, Lamborghini etc get away with in terms of their kit. If Ford is charging £60k + for a car they need to improve the handling...
