Great car and great find but $87K MSRP? Legit MSRP on the factory sticker without BS dealer add ons?
Granted mine was a ā24 but it was $73,715 honest MSRP also with HP and Recaros. Was your matte PPF a factory item and if so how much? Or have they just gone up that much between ā24 and ā25?
Dude, just get out there and try it. Youāll find out quickly enough. Start off slower and increase speed incrementally and it wonāt bite you.
For sure!
OP, one more possibility in addition to fluid. (This is for after you try track mode!). Your A10 may need a s/w update. Ford seems a little schizophrenic as to how they want it to shift. My 2020 GT shifts very hard most of the time. Kinda reminds me of the result of putting a Royal Pontiac...
You might want to have a knowledgeable and trustworthy tech check the trans fluid level. Itās supposed to be done at PDI but often is not because following prescribed procedure is a real PITA and nobody can ābeat the bookā doing it. Low fluid could easily cause your symptoms.
Well certainly Iād mind, yes without a doubt.
But as I mentioned Iāve had nine of these things in the last few years: a 2020 GT (a great car, still have it), a combination of several ā22-ā24 GTs and Mach 1s and now additionally two ā24 Dark Horses (one manual, one automatic). While this doesnāt...
I donāt give such a thing the remotest thought. If I had to think about every move I made driving I couldnāt possibly enjoy it. I put it in track mode, hit the gas and the car goes like stink just like they did back in the old days. No weirdness whatsoever.
Why would I care about knowing more?
You didnāt ask me but Iāll be happy to butt in about my tune. Itās very reasonably priced and is in actuality my left thumb. You just click the drive mode selector a few times and pop it into track mode. Then liberally apply that device found at the end of your right leg to the accelerator...
Maybe. As I mentioned Iām old, perhaps with the attendant reflex diminution age supposedly brings. And I enjoy rolling pretty hard. Yet amazingly Iāve escaped serious bodily harm thus far.
There have certainly been a few important safety developments over the years that have saved many lives...
I wish I could have ālikedā this post more than once.
Iāve had 8 or 9 new V-8 Mustangs since 2020, including GTs, Mach 1s and now Dark Horses. Never once, literally, have I ever not been in track mode in a single one of them except for a couple times when my wife wanted to drive a little. And I...
I hope you wonāt take this as sounding condescending or snarky. It isnāt meant to be. But Iām in my mid-70s and I rarely look at the tach unless thereās a specific reason, like maybe Iām doing a pull and want to maximize power delivery. Otherwise, I shift by instinct and listening to the engine...
I assume that in a bit of a roundabout way youāre asking for our thoughts as to whether you should sell. If I were you and unable to get in my car and just drive it and enjoy it, Iād sure as heck sell it. Thing is though Iām not sure whatās out there in this price range thatās perfect enough to...
In a word, yes.
The capability of the HP car is hard to imagine until youāve experienced it. Iād love to see a video of a stock HP Dark Horse vs a stock 2020 GT350 nose-to-tail on the āring for a couple of laps. But of course itāll never happen. I suspect there would be way too much...
You know, if you rearranged the letters in a couple of your words just a bit your statement might be more accurate. Maybe something like āthe troll is a prā¦ā, well, you know.
That red really pops!
Which red is it? My development kinda stops at Ruby and Rapid. I have a Rapid Red GT but yours looks more like Ruby. Either way itās striking!
P.S. Youāre gonna LOVE the DH!
Thereās a difference between having a piece of paper that says you have a warranty and actually getting said warranty to cover something that blew up because you used the aftermarket supercharger for itās intended purpose.
Point is, if youāre very much concerned with warranty donāt get a...
