Under my 2024 Mustang GT there are 2 unused plugs wrapped with a heat shield. One on each side of the exhaust pipes below the engine. What option are they for ?

My April 2024 build ~ Mustang GT. The car arrived 2 months ago. I have 600 miles on it and love it. The gaps are fine on mine. You have to zoom in on the photos to review.
Is it the same on both sides and is the gap uniform in width? In order to review this gap, a photo of the entire length of the hood would be needed on both sides.
To bad the software update can't be done without bringing the car into the dealership like the other updates I have seen happen in my car. I wonder why that is?
Cut it off carefully with exacto knife. SAnd edges and inside area where bubble was. Use Ford TU paint and dab it into the blemish. Let dry and repeat a couple times. I would do this myself since it is inside the trunk verses dropping the car off at the dealership for days where anything could...

Yes a small flexible vac hose works. If you have a lot of debris you can take the tire off to get better access. I used a small automotive mirror tool to look inside the hole with the tire on.
