My ceiling hieght is 10 foot 7 inches which allows 6 inches from the top of the ceiling to the top of the 09 Shelby and 8 inches between the top of the 2024 GT thats under the Shelby.

I looked with a flashlight just now and do not see anything like you described. I also would of noticed a loose part during my install as well.

Turn the screw counter clockwise a couple turns while applying upward pressure using a small pry tool to gently pop it out.

My Ford pass says my software update was last updated 12/19/24 to 10.1.0 but in the car it says it has 10.1.1 I'm not driving the car untill the weather gets a little better and hope the 2 sync at that time.

When you scuff sand the back of the patch material and then use the 2 part epoxy and firmly place the support blocks to press the piece onto the fender and let it cure and seal the edges.with black RTV.....it ain't ever falling off. Plus it looks tight and clean.

Yes correct do not take it apart. Leave it un screwed 1/4 inch like it comes out of the box. That way the bottom 3 flaps are not spread out.

When one of the flaps break as in my case, they do not grip and hold the cowl cover snug. Here's a photo of a broken one. They have 3 flaps on each pin and when one breaks they no longer hold or grip.

Yes it is 2 pieces and is not made to be taken apart. As you can see when the clip is new out of the box it is ready to push into place and then you turn the top of the pin and since it has plastic threads it screws in and spreads the 3 plastic flaps to hold the cowl cover.

The pin screw clip is 2 pieces as you probably know. When inserting the clip both pieces going in from the top side of the cowl cover. The pin should look like this when inserted. Push it in and then turn the top with your finger. No need to do it tight. It sounds like maybe someone put the...
