As soon as I saw this on the forums I reached out to the dealership doing my Stage 1 kit in April and told them add this to the list of stuff to do! I have never experienced this issue, however my DH was built the week before the end of the impacted build cycle, so don't want to take the chance.

I've got a supercharger install booked at a Ford dealership that does these kits so hopefully can get that scheduled during the same 3 day window.

The base Dark Horse comes with Magneride. The Handling Pack Dark Horse has a more aggressive calibration for track focused magneride. If price is your constraining factor, go with the GT / PP and slap some go fast parts on it.
