I own both and can say that the auto is much easier to launch with constancy over the manual. There's just too many variables with the manual that makes the auto stand out in the launch department.

The OTA updates from Ford don't write over the calibration from Whipple. So no need to worry.

These cars with the factory intake won't make any difference in power with or without the lids with the hood open. I did the dyno testing myself back in August of 2023 before cars even hit the lots.

I understand what you're saying but don't fully agree as I've done plenty of dyno testing on these cars with and without lids on the stock intake and there were no gains or losses between running them with or without the lids. Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately mistakes happen. From what you said though Whipple did right by getting you the correct parts and sent a few shirts. That's a win in my opinion.

We did our best to make it a fair comparison. Since the baseline had the hood open we chose to do the same with the Whipple crusher intake.

I'm not really sure on that but can check on it and reply when I have an answer.

You can indeed order them without the filters. There's a dropdown menu to choose "No Filters" and it deducts $100 from the kit. Let us know if you have any other questions in the meantime.
