Yeah, in a straight line the base GT is very close, even better than the Dark Horse in some cases (the rolls). DH has the edge in the early gears, but loses the edge in the mid gears where the rolls start.
Like someone else said, the DH is a track focused car, not a strip. I would love to see...
Thank you. I can clearly see the base of the HP spoiler is different shape at the two corners/sides vs the non HP spoiler, where both layers follow the curve of the car on each side.
Thanks! So I will in fact need the full new spoiler. Damn, after market better come in clutch or the HP upgrade...
You're right it is two layers.
And the handling pack isn't two layers? Or rather, it's not a different top layer?
If anyone has close-up photos of the HP spoiler all around, I would love to see more details.
Just without the side extensions and gurney flap?
Just curious if there's a possibility to buy the gurney flap and the two side/corner extensions or if a whole new spoiler is needed.
I can see the 4 alan wrench bolts on each side on my current non HP spoiler.
I'm going to play an interesting chance game. Found an MSRP non handling pack order yesterday that a customer backed out on, and I bought it!
It was $68k but my original order is only $69k with the HP, because my original order is price protected and didn't have recaros.
I'm selfishly waiting...
I've heard it is also due to difficulty/dangerous for Ford Flatrock themselves to load these HP cars with summer only tires onto the transport vehicles for winter delivery. Hence not even warmer regions will get these HP cars built during those months.
But I absolutely agree it is so...
Damn. My dealer with two order allocations still hasn't heard about any scheduling on either... Northern Indiana. My main desire for HP is the styling and wheels. I'm sure aftermarket will have my back on those within a year or two.
That's not how it works at all. My order was also 3/27, and I'm still not scheduled. Every dealer earns their build/schedule allocations at different times, regardless of when the orders were placed.
Nice! Same as mine, other than the 10A/6MT.
Unfortunately I've spoken to my dealer and they still don't have a timeline of when they will earn their scheduling allocations... They were given 2 order allocations and I was order #1 😅🤞🙏 but looking like November scheduling at the earliest now.
Woohoo! What spec DH did you get and when did you order? (Just asking how long you've been waiting, I know it doesn't mean anything regarding being scheduled)
Shipping cars would have nothing to do with when you were built, though. In fact, the earlier you are built, likely the longer it will take to ship because logistically there are probably thousands of cars parked around you/blocking them from even reaching your car.
Then you have to take into...
There's been a lot of rumors, unclear info, hypothesis spread around the forums on how the manual scheduling for Dark Horse works. This has personally lead me to be excited/hopeful for every weekly scheduling update. However, it appears that this may not be necessary and in reality your dealer...
