My guess as well. To many challenges trying to get a Whipple car to pass standard testing. They have already done it with the Eaton, so why take on a challenge you don't need to.
I've got garage and budget for one toy, and that toy will be a Manual until I can't do it. The Whipple kit also helps the new model envy.
But if I tracked the car, and wanted a 800 HP car that I could beat the piss out of on the track I would be jelly. I just don't have the confidence I...
The car is bad ass. The only thing I don't like is they ditched the dual filter setup. They made it work with Whipple, just do it here and use both nostrils even with a single throttle body.
Yes its a refresh of a 2021 Shelby GT500 that's not a Shelby. That says less about this car and...
Yeah, for me the best-looking wheels ever put on a mustang are the DH HP wheels. Perfection. If ford knows anything they can make a good looking wheel. Same for F-150, bronco..ext. Upper trim wheels are legit.
Now those RS tires were straight trash.
Honest answer/questions:
1. Lots of cars have a 35k trim level difference. You will dump another 3K into your car for wheels and tires....and at that point you paid 22k less than most pay for a DH. That may not be a great value but its not bad..... and some percentage of the difference will...
Are you making sure to turn traction control off.
Both coyotes I’ve owned had the tendency to wake up with different attitudes depending of fuel and weather.
Shelby is doing what Shelby has done for ever. The previous Shelby cars sold by ford were ford performance cars with a licensed badge. Even during those years Shelby was selling their own cars that looked nothing like the GT350/500.
Shelby is no different than RTR, or saleen. The previous...
Ford performance cars have specific tunes (Usually requiring 91 octane) and a 36,000 mile three year warranty.
Ford vehicles are tuned to run on 87 and come with the standard 5 year 60,000 mile warranty.
Thats how I understand the difference.
On my stage one its damped compared to all of previous settings. While running NA sport mode had the quickest response....and that is what I was used to. I was actually disappointed at first with the throttle response, but over the weekend I'm reprogrammed myself just to hit the gas.
OK, so the radiator defectors and the lower air deflectors are out. The grill ducts and break cooling ducts are in. Kind of what I figured. Thank you for your help. If need be I shot this and forward, but I'm pretty sure they are going to take care of me.
Thanks again.
Had the FP branded supercharger installed on the car this week. When I picked the car up from a local installing dealership I had 8 pieces of air flow material returned to me in a box and not on the car. These included:
* Both air ducts that attach to the grill and connect to the stock air...
Does it really sound better or is there a placebo effect?
I ask because the sound of a subwoofer has much more to do with the enclosure and amplification than the actual woofer itself. The aftermarket woofer may be a touch more efficient and therefore a few dbs louder???
Fair enough, that truck didn't show up till the last second.
One of my biggest peeves is when there is a vehicle on the shoulder and people in the left lane won't slow a bit to allow folks in the right to get over for a couple of seconds.
I'm not a defensive course instructor by any stretch of the imagination.....but in the case of the service truck passing the semi on the shoulder..... Other drivers on the road need to note the circumstance and allow the service truck space to either switch lanes or cross the line a bit.
