Hey Guys,
I recently installed a borla Atak catback exhaust (active valve)on my s650 GT. Sounds amazing and no drone. But few days ago I noticed the exhaust tips are sticking together on left and right side is about to be same. Worst thing itās starting to rattle now and Iām not able to clean...
@ListedGuru just to clarify I said I had slippery mode on through out my drive and traction was on in beginning. But after a while traction got off automatically and couldnāt be turned back on. Mostly cos of snow getting accumulated not sure. I shouldāve mentioned it clearly earlier. Hope itās...
It was in slippery mode all the time. We had about 5-6 inches(or more) of snow that day. I just wouldnāt recommend anyone driving Mustang with all season on roads where we have traffic and this much snow. Since that road was closed I tried it. But on way back home it was drifting real crazy...
Totally agree with you. Did the same last winter as I had 4x4 then. But now this is my daily driver. Gotta take it to wash next day after such snow drives hoping to remove all that salt/chemicals that they put on roads.
Hey All,
I know some of you mightāve done better. But this is my first time driving in snow with āall seasonsā. Was fun and little scary at same time cos of no traction and car was drifting. Thankfully the roads were closed so no oncoming traffic. Waiting on the winter tires!!!
@MAT1955 Last winter I had a 4x4 to commute during winter. This time I donāt and this is my daily driver so need the snow tires š thanks man Iāll probably go with Nexen.
Hi All,
As winter is round the corner now Iām planning to get set of winter tires for my S650 mustang GT. I heard good reviews about Nexen winguard sport 2s. I have a base GT with all season tires - 255/45/18 and planning to get 245/45/18 on winter tires. Will this setup look bad on car? This...
Hey guys,
As long tube headers arenāt legal here in CO Iām planning on upgrading my stock exhaust on s650 Mustang GT (Active exhaust) by getting Borla cat back. As S type has more deep tone which I guess would be perfect if I had long tube headers and Atak is more louder/raspier havenāt heard...
Totally agree with you bro. Since I got active exhaust can drastically reduce the noise within residential areas and for CEL talked to few on the forms who have headers on their s650 GT (different states) they used O2 sensor which helped with CEL.
Has anyone in CO installed long tube headers on their s650 mustang GT? Lot of performance shops I call say itās illegal to install them in CO area. Any work around apart from me installing it by myself?
Hi All,
New member here. Got my S650 few months ago. Also, got H pipe and resonator delete. Sounds much better now than stock. But now Iām outgrown this sound and need more Iām planning to go with Borla S type axel back but itās close to $2000. Is there any alternative exhaust sounding similar...
